Great stay in Sunriver!

This property was great. It was very clean, the kitchen was well stocked and the hot tub was bomb. Tom was very communicative when Vrbo did not send us our access code on time. Our only critique is that the beds could have been a little more comfortable. Thanks for a nice stay!

Lovely autumnal stay at Sunriver

We enjoyed Tom's well-appointed house and the quiet view of trees for our autumn stay. The house was well-stocked and it was nice having the separation of bedrooms from the rest of the house after the kids went to bed. Tom was also a very responsive host. (Thank you!) We enjoyed our stayat Sunriver (the brewery and pool were true highlights) and, even during shoulder season, found a lot of great activities to explore: High Desert Museum, Smith Rock, Bend, etc.

We were happy at the amount of bike options there were at the property. I believe we counted 16 bikes available, to suit any ability and preference. The rooms were all very nice and clean. The only "hiccup" we had was that we ran out of propane on the first night. There were two bbq grills, so that was fine, but our dinner plans were a little messed up due to the timing of this. But, we were able to work around it. Overall, it is a very nice property and we would not hesitate to stay there again.

Great property in lovely Sunriver

Nice setting at the end of a quiet cul de sac. Really nice bikes, all the kitchen tools you may need, and a beautiful home to boot.

Wonderful home

This was a very nice clean and comfortable home. The bikes were great and the hot tub was wonderful. Everything was very well maintained and good quality. Also loved the location of the house which was not too far from the river.

A perfect "First Annual" Family Trip!

We had a fabulous time at the Chalet Sarlet for our "reinstated" annual family Sunriver trip. The home was spotless, well appointed and nicely decorated. We enjoyed using the bikes, the hot tub, and the outside decks for all our meals and family time. We hope to come back again next year, if not before during ski season. Thank you, Tim, for sharing your beautiful home.

Amazing House! Exceeded Expectations

We had a great time at this home. Upscale finishes with well stocked kitchen, bbq, comfortable furniture and one of the best hot tubs we have ever been in. Tom was great, easy to get a hold of and met our every need. FIVE STAR STAY! Well be back. :-) Thanks Tom!

Wonderful Family Vacation

We had such a wonderful week at Sunriver! The house was very comfortable and our kids loved the bunk room!! Tom (the owner) was very responsive, and made sure everything was in great shape! It’s about 3 miles to the village on the bike/walking paths; we biked in most mornings to get a coffee and pastry. Great way to start the morning!

Perfect Sunriver House

This house was perfect for our family of four. Could very comfortably accommodate two more. The house was clean, beds comfortable and house stocked with everything we needed. We enjoyed the nice hot tub and had fun with the ping pong table. Also took advantage of the bikes available with the house. It is a very warm and inviting place to stay and so nice to have air conditioning for the warmer summer months too! We would definitely rent this house again.

A warm, happy stay

This was a warm and comfortable home that supplied everything we needed: well stocked kitchen, tv, comfy beds, games and puzzles, inviting and private deck, bikes (although it rained before we could get started), plenty of space, lovely setting for walks, peaceful and quite location and a wonderful hot tub. Plus, when we arrived, there was a bottle of wine waiting for us on the dining table. Nice touch. Thanks, Tom!

Loved our stay!

The accommodations far exceeded our expectations. The home was clean, very comfortable, and a super relaxing environment. My wife's s bit of a neat and clean person (don't want to label her a "neat freak") and the home definitely met her approval. The beds were comfortable, the decks were perfect for hanging out, the BBQ grilled to perfection, the bikes operated perfectly (we got some great rides in), and the hot tub was super clean and hot! The home was so relaxing I oftentimes didn't want to leave so I spent many hours just sitting on the deck reading To kill a Mockingbird and sipping local craft beer. The perfect vacation! Tom checked in via a text during our stay to let us know to immediately let him know should anything not meet our expectations, so THANK YOU, Tom! We hope the home is available on our next trip to Sunriver!

Gateway for Mt Bachelor

Our family really enjoyed our stay at Tom's house. It was comfortable and cozy with a well-stocked kitchen and bathrooms. There was a very thoughtful bottle of wine waiting for us upon arrival too. We loved soaking in the hot tub after a day's skiing - even more than usual given the colder than usual weather. Our kids are 10 and 13 and there was plenty of space for each of us to have some me-time, as well as a nice open living area for us to come together to eat meals, watch tv, and play games (there was a full cupboard of games!). As it was so cold during our stay, we had to add blankets to the bed in the master bedroom; we also noticed that the forced air heating is a little loud in one of the bedrooms, but it didn't cause us any issues. We didn't get the door code through Vrbo as expected, but Tom was very quick to respond to my message in the app so we checked in without a hitch. I'd definitely come back to Tom's house again - thank you for having us!

You MUST stay here!!

What a beautiful week we just experienced in Sunriver! This home was everything we could have asked for, plus so much more. Tom, the owner, was so quick to respond to all of my questions I had prior to arriving and the few times that I reached out to him during our time there, he got back with me in just a few minutes. The home is in a wonderful, quiet location, but still close to everything. We rode the bikes they had in the garage everyday - to the river, the village, the marina and the SHARC. The bikes were all top notch mountain bikes. Six SHARC passes were also included and we loved going there and enjoying the sunshine. There were also a few rousing games of ping-pong played while we were there. Such a wonderful added touch. Several board games and card games were also there for our use and we enjoyed our nights on the beautiful deck playing games and savoring a glass of wine. And now to the home...... I've rented several homes through VRBO and this was by far the most wonderful one to date. The house is decorated beautifully and the furniture was top-notch. The kitchen was wonderful to work in, as anything that you may need was there and was of the highest quality. We enjoyed several meals at home and everything needed was at our fingertips. There aren't enough superlatives for me to adequately describe this home. If you are thinking of spending any time in Sunriver, you must consider staying in this amazing home. Again, Tom, thank you for making our return trip to Sunriver so fabulous! We'll be back for sure :)

Kick back, spread out and relax with the family

Took a long weekend to reunite with the extended family and had a blast! A short bike ride to Fort Rock Park, we were able to enjoy all that Sunriver had to offer. The deck was HUGE! Never felt cramped in any part of the house. I've slept on more comfortable beds in my life, but were manageable. The hot tub may have been the nicest one I've ever used at a rental property and it was pristinely clean. The AC worked like a charm. There were plenty of bikes and adjoining locks for the whole family. As someone who grills, I do wish the BBQ was a little larger, but not a deal breaker by any means. Communication with the owner was prompt and very helpful. Would definitely consider staying here again!

Areas of Improvement Unbeknownst to Owner

Amazing property all around and ownership goes above & beyond to make customers satisfied. From the gifted bottle of wine when you walk-in to the fancy soap that makes your hair tingle in the showers. Kitchen is well-stocked with amenities you’re typically having to purchase or annoyingly pack ahead of time. Nobody’s perfect & owner wasn’t aware that the hot tub key didn’t fit the lock, there was one duraflame log for fireplace, & the VRBO app didn’t easily provide the code for entry. Tom was readily available upon arrival to help from afar. We’ll be staying again if he’ll have us!

Ideal

We loved our stay here. The house and deck were spotless and well stocked. We felt very welcome and at home here. A couple of times we had questions and the Owner responded right away. We loved sitting out on the well swept deck after a day of biking and playing tennis. The wine and glasses set out for our arrival ushered us straight into vacation.
