What a beautiful hotel.
If you’re looking for a place in Central Bendigo, you cannot go past this boutique hotel. Perfect location, quiet, comfortable, beautifully decorated and the service is fabulous. We will be back to stay for longer.
Beautifully renovated old bank with large comfortable and well appointed rooms. Located right on central gardens in the Arts district. Close to many cafes restaurants and centre of town to take in the the heritage buildings and churches. Hostess-Ella- was very enthusiastic and most helpful
Truly beautiful hotel.
From the moment I arrived, the friendly staff welcomed me, check in was very easy and quick, then as this was my first visit the staff gave me a tour of the hotel ( originally a bank ) with a very interesting overview of the history of the bank and the hotel.
Once in my room, it was beautifully set out with everything I needed and quality bedding, toiletries and facilities. Looking forward to my next visit to stay in this beautiful hotel.
Fabulous hotel, and very comfortable. We were in appt 1 which is on the ground floor. My only criticism is that the reverse air conditioner was very noisy and the bathroom needed some kind of heating. Other than that it was a lovely hotel with a very nice obliging concierge.
Overnight stop in chilly Bendigo. Unfortunately the heat pump stopped working. It was being fixed as we left. I love the location and colours of the room but a warning - our room required 36 steps to reach it on the top floor. There is no lift. The Ernest is head and shoulders above other accommodation in Bendigo
Lovely to have a top of the range hotel in Bendigo that is so convenient to the city centre. Just a thought for anyone who struggles with stairs. There’s no lift to the upstairs rooms
