“Great place ”

“Very difficult to enter. Address is incorrect on ALL advertising. Front door AND back door is locked after a certain time in the evening (we were stuck inside for more than an hour until someone finally came). Won't stay there again.”

“This was a quaint little place, just a 5-minute walk across the bridge from the center of town. The rooms were decent-sized, spotlessly clean, and the bed was very comfortable. My room had a terrace overlooking the garden area. The bathroom was large enough to move and shower, with plenty of hot water. The hosts were available and friendly, and the breakfast was quite sufficient, and served with a smile. ”

“This hotel is rated three stars but it is pretty basic. The room is barely 10x10. We stayed 2 days. Pros were the staff, Sandra was wonderful, and our balcony and room view of the lake. What was unexpected was: the bed was basic, not great for my back, and we were only given 2 pillows, a sheet and a simple blanket. There was no air conditioning, only a standing fan, the shower was rudimentary, and only one small table and a combo hanger/shelf. Breakfast was simple, and as with a lot of hotels,……

“The property is ok, Nice pool. Wifi was really poor and regular celular service didn’t work because of el Peñol they said. Hot water took forever to reach the shower and after 15 minutes I gave up.Breakfast was not served before 8.30 am and we had no choices, asked for scrambled eggs without onions and wasn’t possible.”

“The hotel is no where near where it is advertised, the listing shows it right in Guatape and a 3 minute walk to the square. It is a 30 minute walk to the square! The hot tubs never had water in them. The staff was unfriendly and barely acknowledged you when you came and went. When we got off the bus we walked to the advertised location to discover it was not there, it took at least a half an hour to find the hotel location and another half an hour to walk there. FALSE ADVERTISING!”

“Hotel Chromatic is a colorful, clean hotel. Located in the heart of Guatape, the hotel provided us good breakfast each morning, a nice hot shower, and friendly staff. Though the room didn't have a coffee pot or refrigerator, the coffee bar downstairs made good coffee and lattes, and my wife loved the hour massage on site--a paid option from their spa.”

“Excellent experience! Delicious breakfast and a very friendly staff! The internet connection wasn't stable but the experience made up for that. All the greenery around was amazinggggg! ”

“La ubicación y vista del apto, espectacular. Apto moderno bien iluminado, bien en camas y ropa de cama. No obstante, al estar en via principal lleva ruido en la noche y madrugada (carros, motos, trafico, personas, etc). Ahora bien, de atención urgente, el mantenimiento en el apto por el olor a alcantarilla en el baño principal, cabina de baño auxiliar suelta y con peligro de quebrarse, silla de sala con forro totalmente roto.. mantenimiento urgente.”
