Pleasant Stay in a Quiet Setting

We spent several days over the summer at Casa Carolina and had a positive experience overall. The check in process was easy and the representatives from Interhome were very helpful, informative, and pleasant. Note: the Interhome office is about 10 minutes from the property and parking near Interhome can be challenging (and, depending on the time of day, you must pay a parking meter!). The home is nestled in a very quiet neighborhood overlooking the sea and Ifach outcropping. Casa Carolina was clean. The downstairs rooms were spacious, albeit a little musty. Upstairs common rooms, veranda, and private pool/deck are great spaces for the family, with wonderful views. The kitchen was equipped with all one might need for most cooking projects. The private pool and deck were clean and a highlight. Main public beaches are about 5-7 minutes drive from the house. Public metered parking was easy to find. Note: while the property does not have air conditioning, there are some fans available. A few, but not all windows and doors have screens. Still, the home benefits from a pleasant breeze that wends its way up the hillside from the sea. Unfortunately, the lack of screens allows many mosquitoes access in the evenings. If you prefer not to apply bug spray before you go to sleep, pack a mosquito net for each bed your party intends to use. That will go a long way to making your sleep much less unpleasant. Overall, we enjoyed our relaxing time at Casa Carolina!

Schönes Haus mit super Aussicht

Wir hatten einen schönen Urlaub in einem schönem Haus. Die Aussicht über das Meer hinweg zum Ifac ist wirklich sehr schön. Das Haus verfügt über alles was man so braucht, es fehlt an nichts. Der Außenbereich am Pool mit seinen Liegen ist auch sehr schön, könnte aber mal einen neuen Anstrich vertragen. Wer gerne mal spazieren geht, kann das hier sehr gut machen. Es gibt einen Weg (Passeig Ecològic de Benissa) immer am Meer entlang, bis zur Promenade nach Calpe. Man sollte an Mückenschutz denken, wir hatten jetzt relativ viele Mücken die schon sehr nerven können. Auch ein Mückenspray sollte man vielleicht holen um im Haus nicht, wie es leider andere machen, mit Schuhen gegen die Wände schlagen. Wir könne das Haus nur empfehlen, und werden es auch wieder mieten.
