"Overall I rate this resort 7.5/10
The sargassum is VERY very bad, the first night we arrived I (not exaggerating) nearly vomited, it is insanely bad smell, every time we left the room we got hit in the face by the smell, defo avoid if you are sensitive to smells. We did get used to the smell though
We arrived May 30th and the place was about 25/30% full which was great for us as we like peace
We were very disappointed as the buffet was only open for breakfast the time we spent there which is quite misleading as it says there is a buffet for breakfast lunch and dinner
The breakfast was REALLY poor!! I was so disappointed with the options, they also did not have fly fans to keep flies away so anything that’s not hot, fruit, salad, cheeses, bread etc etc were COVERED in flies which is insanely gross!!
12pm-5pm there is 2 restaurants available with decent amount of options for food& the food was 7/10 in both places
There is a coffee store which is not too bad although one lady pre-batches her espresso so it’s not fresh, it was not busy enough for this to happen. In the same store there was drinks, beer&chips you could use your points for which was awesome! We didn’t use all our points
For dinner there are 2 restaurants, the Italian was so good!! The pizzas were to die for!
The steak place was below average, we only went twice as we preferred Italian
Overall the service from the staff was really good, I do not see myself coming back because the smell & secluded area& no beach"
