“My teens and I had a wonderful adventure at the cabin- we enjoyed morning visits with the goats and dogs, and peaceful tea and coffee on the porch rockers. Friendly and responsive hosts. We will come back again.”

“Unable to get a hotel room so this was the only alternative. The RV was listed as big enough to sleep 4. Three would have been possible but 4 a stretch and there’s no way 4 people could have taken a hot shower. I got a lukewarm one day one (only in for several minutes) and my son’s was ice cold. Also the place was clean but smelled of stale beer. Also the AC ran constantly even though thermostat was set at 75 degrees. Place was frigid.”

“We were a little intimidated by the drive up in the rain, but once we got to Gobbler Knob things were great! Everything we needed was there, it was comfy and clean and when the rain cleared, the deck was fantastic. The view off the deck was the perfect way to start and end the day and it was an easy drive down to Floyd for entertainment, food and exploring. We loved listening to all the birds around the place.”

“Large cabin that is conveniently located near restaurants, many popular destinations and main thoroughfares. Cabin was clean and host quickly responded to any questions we had. Very steep driveway up to the cabin (yes, Roanoke has mountains!) -- but don't be discouraged -- we soon realized that parking was available in an area at bottom of hill with steps up to cabin. It was difficult to turn around at the top with a large pickup truck. Larger vehicles should park at designated area at bottom of……

“We've stayed at many VRBOs and this adorable cottage ranks very high on our list! It was the cleanest place we've ever stayed and we really appreciated all of the extra towels and cozy blankets. The hot tub and fire pit were fun evening activities, and the smart tvs came loaded with many of our favorite programs. The appliances were brand new and the kitchen had everything we needed, including an electric tea kettle. The backyard view was fantastic, and we also enjoyed sitting on the front porch……
