"This is a forgettable hotel, but very clean for the age. It serves its purpose for a clean and safe place to stay. The morning staff is wonderful, along with the breakfast staff. friendly and accommodating. However, the night staff, particularly one person made me compelled to write the review. He was miserable, rude and acted like it was an inconvenience to even check us in after traveling. Other members of our party also needed a few things like an extra pillow or blanket to make their stay more comfortable and it was not only refused, but scoffed at and belittled for asking. I have never experienced such rude and unprofessional behavior in all my many decades of traveling. Next time we will go for the inconvenience of traveling further at a branded hotel chain then feeling like an inconvenience to the staff (one person)
I feel bad writing this because the rest of the staff was very kind and accommodating, asking for a pillow or blanket should not be a huge deal, let alone simply checking in should be met with friendliness and welcoming. I should have cancelled my reservation at that moment."
