「Have always stayed at the Brown Bear but the 1st stay in Kodiak was very nice and comfortable. The dishwasher wasn’t working but that was ok we did the dishes and left them out to dry when we left. Very comfortable bed and furnishings. I missed the screened in porch but it only rained for a few days. Can’t wait to come back! Thank You!John Meister 」

「The cabin was very clean when we arrived and the property was very cute from the outside when we first arrived. The hot tub was wonderful and the reason we booked the property. The little gift they provided us with was also very special. We booked for my birthday weekend and it was prime location for what we wanted. Amenities in the kitchen were also great and helpful to have. Loved the fireplace and Chromecast access too! Overall great stay and a sweet little weekend getaway. 」

It was a short drive to all the activities we wanted to do. The owner was very response to my questions and I found her very helpful. We would certainly stay there again.」

「At Red Shutters you fall asleep in front of a roaring fire and wake to deer grazing in the yard. The accommodations are clean, the bed comfortable, and the kitchen well stocked with cooking gear and dried spices. The propane stove in the main room was nice when the weather turned colder. It’s lovely to be surrounded by dense woods and just 3 blocks from Lake Michigan and Crystal Lake. A wonderful retreat. 」

「This property and facilities was perfect for our group of five people. Access to the beach was a real plus. The cabin was well maintained, clean, comfortable and had all the space we needed. The kitchen was well equipped and we were plesantly supprised to see how well it was supplied. We definately plan to book this cabin again.
