Delightful First Trip to Bergen

For our first trip to Bergen and Norway we could not have chosen a more cozy and well-appointed spot. We loved being steps from Bryggen and downtown, and the neighborhood was charming. While you do need to be prepared to walk up and down hill to get to and from everything, the neighborhood feel and prime location made it worthwhile. We had a wonderful time.

The location is perfect for exploring Bergen. You can walk easily (it's uphill) from the train station, light rail stop, fish market, Mt Floyen funicular, tourist information center, Bryggen, etc. and it's a quiet residential area with charming buildings and cute streets to explore. Coffee shops, restaurants, and shops are all nearby as well. As for the house itself, it's very modern, comfortable, no clutter. The water pressure in the shower was great and the bed was SUPER comfortable. We enjoyed the space and it felt great to return to the house after long days out on our feet. Highly recommend!

High tech house

Very high tech house-maybe too high tech for tech challenged or old timers. Figured most of it eventually. Checkin/ out times could be pushed an hour each way to be more in line with most hotels. Early check in/out available for an extra fee Very clean great location and communication throughout whole stay
