I have nothing to fault about this hotel. The location was great, the staff helpful, and the breakfast was so good! I absolutely would reccommend this hotel and would stay here again. Bonus, if you have bad eyes the numbers on the doors are absolutely massive.

6/10 Okay

The hotel was a little less basic than I had thought. The restaurant was only open for breakfast (no dinner service) but there was a good choice. The room was smaller than I'm used to, the car park was at the rear of the hotel behind a barrier that could only be accessed with a fob from reception. Handy location for the main harbour area and next to the historic castle.

Love the heated floors in the bathroom and the robe and slippers. The free breakfast was fabulous but didn’t start until 7 am on weekends. Our main complaint was the inability to cool the room. We had 3 hot sleepless nights. Although we turned off the heater in the room, the windows would only crack an inch to let cool air in from the outside. We had a fan in the room but the blackout curtains which are necessary, completely cover the windows and don’t allow air from the outside to circulate in the room. Your choice is a cool bright room or a hot dark room. This is a design flaw. The A/C is turned off on 9/1 but the outside temperature can still be quite warm. The rooms also need instructions on how to use the coffee maker. Went through 3 pods before getting a flashlight and finding the correct buttons to push.

Business Room is spacious but dark. Breakfast is very good, although would have been better if there is fresh orange juice. Location is great, right next to the harbour, walking distance to the elevator uphills. Parking also convenient, 5 mins walk away.

This hotel was located perfectly for the Viking cruise port. It was a 10 min. walk to our ship. The hotel supplied hand soap that was attached to the wall and shower/shampoo soap that was attached to the shower. It was probably all the same soap. No body lotion so bring your own. The buffet breakfast was delicious and plentiful as others have commented. The staff at the buffet was very friendly and helpful.
