「Due to age of building plus isolation it had some unique qualities but the staff were all lovely and the stay was enjoyable.」

「The room was decent and the bed comfortable. The issue we had was the bar had closed at 10.25pm and the bar staff wouldn’t serve us despite us having been told that it would be open until 11pm. We weren’t even allowed to add drinks to our bill and have them in our room because the barman said he’s closed all the tills. He said we could go to the local garage if we wanted to buy alcohol - not exactly what you expect when staying in a hotel.」

「The room was cozy and well appointed. Plenty of space for two people, including a separate chair to sit down and relax. Large bathroom. The bed was quite comfortable.」

「Our room had a view of a service area, this could easily have been tidied up and things put out of view. A bit more thought put into things would have made the bedroom and bathroom more user friendly.」

「Nice village hotel and our check in and room were good on the face of it. Other than the guy who checked us in, staff was generally rude. We had booked for breakfast at 08:00 on the first morning, and having travelled the previous day from Asia ended up waking earlier and found ourselves waiting in the breakfast room around 7:10, hoping to be able to request breakfast at 7:30 when it opened. We were greeted by a man in a hurry, brusquely telling us over his shoulder whilst rushing around doing...
