We did not get to stay there. We could not find the property. GPS took us to a private property that was not the right location. The property owner was annoyed and said this had happened before multiple times. The link they gave me initially to download the house manual was to the Blue Maple website, and there was no search function to find the manual. When we asked them to call us to help us find the place, they did not respond. We had to call VRBO and ask them to intercede for us. We had two three way calls. The Blue Maple person sent us “detailed instructions.” These were inadequate (my opinion and Claude Ai’s opinion). She was also not knowledgeable about the property and could not assist us with directions. She offered to put is on hold and she would try to find someone knowledgeable about the property. We asked for them to cancel the reservation, which they said they did, but they refused to give us a refund. We asked VRBO to get involved and initiated a charge back request to our credit card bank. The next day they wrote me and said there reason for not refunding our money was that 1) they had given us GPS link, 2) they had sent us detailed instructions 3) their representative had helped us and 4) we had stayed at their property. This being FALSE and CLUELESS. After I told VRBO about this, they finally gave us a refund, but they never apologized or offered to compensate us with a free stay at one of their many other properties or admit they were wrong
