Great spot to relax! The deck and the screened in porch look over the large private yard that leads down to the creek. The creek is pretty shallow, but deep enough to lounge in a tube and take a short float to the end of the yard.

We had a great stay for a week. Arrived Sunday afternoon and stayed until Saturday. The cabin was clean and inviting. We loved the peaceful location. We cooked most meals at the cabin and enjoyed relaxing on the deck, reading and unwinding in the hot tub. Berkley Springs is a very cute town with equally charming people. Would stay again!

Great Getaway!

Everything we expected! Cabin is small but very clean. Outside area is perfect with a huge front porch to relax on, a beautiful deck w jacuzzi looking at stream. Also a screened in porch and a very nice firepit! PERFECT for a dog vacation as property is on end of a street no houses close by. Property manager checked in and answered any questions .

Cozy getaway

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Sleepy Creek. Location is convenient and peaceful. A little cramped when thunderstorms came through and couldn't be outside, but overall a great place.

Cute little cabin in a remote area. Staff was very responsive and sent someone out within an hour to fix the hot tub on New Years Day! Will gladly stay again

Absolutely love Sleepy Creek Retreat

This was our second time staying at Sleepy Creek and we just love it. First time was fall, now winter, next we'll do the summer! No matter the weather it's a relaxing experience. Having all the amenities of home is also a plus. I can't forget to mention that the place is SPOTLESS!

Beautiful paradise

We booked this cabin for a remote weekend getaway. It was everything we hoped for and more! The hot tub was amazing. Such a cozy place to stay with our pup. Only a few minutes outside of town, but completely private and secluded. Nothing around but nature.

Relaxed stay in Sleepy Creek cabin

Excellent secluded location in the woods, surrounded by trees. The cabin was well maintained and stocked with all necessities. The hot tub was clean and great for a soak after long hikes. The property is close to Berkeley Springs town center. Also an easy drive to Cacapon State Park , Martinsburg and Shepherdtown. We have rented cabins in the area and so far this property is our favorite as it meets our needs.for privacy and comfort.

Fun winter hideaway!

Enjoyed a wonderful, quiet snowy weekend, with the valley all to ourselves! Property was cozy, with all the right amenities for a winter weekend. And they plowed the road out in plenty of time for us to depart right on schedule! One tip - run the dishwasher when you plan to be away (it's loud :-) ).

Weekend Getaway

We loved the location and our pups loved being on the creek. The cottage had all the amenities needed and was very well kept. Only complaint is check out was listed as noon and the cleaning crew showed up at 11:15 and was parked on the property, so we felt an urgency to leave earlier then anticipated. Also booking through VRBO we assumed the pet fee was included but received a call after the fact saying it wasn’t and questioning if we had dogs like we were trying to get one over on the property. This is a VRBO issue, not a renter issue.

No kids allowed

Great weekend away with no kids. We enjoyed walking around the property. The stone path to the water was a huge plus. Nice and relaxing sitting in the hot tub and watching the water and wildlife. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. The hot tub was low on chemicals and someone came out right away to fix it. We will definitely return to this cabin.

Beautiful setting!

The cabin was in a lovely, natural setting. It was very relaxing few days. Keep in mind that the oven runs hot. Watch your food. The hot tub tripped the circuit several times. But overall it was a wonderful experience.

Great stay!

Truly enjoyed our long weekend at Sleepy Creek Retreat. Cabin was cozy and furnished with everything we needed. Plenty of seating on the deck and screened in porch. We had one day of rain but stayed out on screened in porch all day. Front porch also very nice with the swing and rockers. Plenty of towels in the bathroom (linens were in great condition). Cabin was clean. Definitely want to return! Peaceful weekend!

PERFECTION!

This little cabin on the creek is the perfect place for a long weekend retreat! The property is gorgeous! Plenty of bird watching during the day and peaceful nights by the campfire. The cabin is comfortable and has many areas to relax and enjoy your downtime! It's only a quick 15 minute drive from downtown Berkeley Springs. You won't be sorry - book today!! ....oh, and bring your kayak!

Beautiful

This cabin is bliss. My husband and I took our dogs there for our anniversary weekend and it was wonderful. Only complaint was the tree workers from the county making quite the ruckus for the first 2 days we were there. As soon as they were gone or took lunch it was perfection. Quiet, no people, peaceful. I would like to come back to this cabin in particular in the years to come. If I could complain about anything, the couches are kind of uncomfortable, but we really didn't spend much time sitting in them. Thank you for keeping your home so well kept.

Perfect little cabin away from it all

We were looking for a place to stay where we would have privacy and be able to relax away from the hustle and bustle of our everyday lives...and we certainly found it! The cabin is well away from neighbors and has a beautiful flowing creek behind it. Our dogs absolutely loved frolicking in the yard and in the water! The cabin is perfect for a couple or small family and had even more supplies/amenities than we expected. The hot tub is excellent to relax in after a day exploring Berkeley Springs. (Definitely check out the local brewery if you're into good beers! ) The owner provides brochures and ideas for fun activities in the area as well as instructions for pretty much anything you can think of that exists on the property. There is minimal cell service as you get closer to the cabin so be sure to follow the directions provided to you by the owner. We had an excellent time and look forward to returning sometime in the future!
