「We had a great stay in this beautiful barn conversion. The location is gorgeous and super convenient to the M4. House is tastefully decorated with great spaces, wonderful light & a big garden/patio as well. We were glad to find a place that had plenty of room and appropriate beds for 8 adults. We would definitely stay again.」

「Hamish and Susie were great hosts. Hamish met us on arrival and gave us a tour of the house. We enjoyed the goodies in the welcome basket. The shortbread’s were delicious ( I believe they were homemade). We enjoyed our 3 night stay, the cottage was what we had hoped it would be. The gardens and grounds were so lovely and peaceful. Hamish gave us excellent advice getting to London by train. Our son and grandson enjoyed exploring Windsor Great Park, they saw a lot of wildlife. An awesome...

「We had absolutely no heating. I tried several times to contact the owner by email, messenger and by phoning her. No reply. I had been in contact with her regarding check in via email and messenger, I even sent a photo of the temperature in the house. 10 degrees. I had to source 2 radiators myself, which a kind neighbour lent us. I would like a refund for our inconvenience 」

「This property is a lovely combination of magical and historical beauty with the luxuries we love to have on vacation. The pool and hot tub were a delightful way to end the day, the double canopy and swing overlooking the Thames and regularly visiting swans was a perfect start to the day with a cup of coffee. If you have the means, I highly recommend it. We will absolutely be returning.Thank you」

「This was the most glorious hideaway - we didn't want to leave! It's a wonderfully curated and comfortable space with so many lovely touches. The host couldn't do enough for you. We're already planning our return!」

「Exactly as stated on ad! A real home from home. Lovely and clean. Well equipped for longer stays. Comfy beds. Communication with owner was spot on. Would definitely use again if in the area.」

「Lovely quiet location. Pretty cottage. On one side you look out across trees and farm fields, the other backs onto the owners spacious garden.There is a small semi private patio/grassed area to the front of the cottage. Welcoming, clean, light, and comfy accommodation.Short walk to a very nice pub.Georgie popped over to welcome us which was lovely to say hello.Easy to unwind in such surroundings. We enjoyed our relaxing stay very much. Thank you.」

「There is no parking at the property. It’s pot luck on roads around the property!! I received a parking ticket during my stay having specifically booked because the listing said parking. The beds were really comfortable, but some of the cleanliness and condition of things was questionable. There’s also a really noisy neighbour who blares television through the wall until 12pm. Shame, it had so much potential.」

It was a short walk to the village shops and nice restaurants, and we found it to be very centrally located for visiting friends and family in the surrounding area. We have already decided we would be very happy to return the next time we are in the UK!」
