Praia D'El Rey Marriott Golf & Beach Resort
10/10 Excellent
"The moment we stepped onto the property, we felt like we were staying in a 5-Star resort. The location is breathtaking, and we enjoyed how close the three golf courses we played were. The views are nothing less than amazing. The free parking was another bonus since we rented a car, which allowed us to explore the area off the resort. All the restaurants had nice selections of food, and the buffet each morning was well prepared, with breads and meats. etc. We plan to return next year."

"Staff good,fixed a plumbing issue quickly.dont really care for the shower design. Breakfast hot items were cold. Did not get chance to golf but looks very nice"

"Reception was very helpful. We wanted to try Obidos' signature Ginja drink, so they offered us a taste for free. The room was a bit small, but we did not pay much for it, so it is understandable. Plus we picked the cheapest option so we understood. And since the room was small, our neighbors could hear us and we could hear them. However, the amenities were great. We were given a welcome bottle of water and nuts. The bathroom had soap, shampoo, and conditioner. There was a restaurant we could order food from if all other restaurants were closed. And the room's window looked upon the town's large rock wall, which was cool. A good visit in this small town."

"We really enjoyed our stay here. Yes, the hotel is quite old but the rooms are really spacious and spotlessly clean. The outdoor pool area was lovely - huge pool. Breakfast was really good, friendly staff. Location was great, we could walk across the road to the bar and the beach and it was only a short distance to the old town and to Baleal which we absolutely loved."

"Very basic simple hotel. Impecably clean, well maintained. The breakfast is ok. I think for the price it is a really good deal. I walked to the beach. The hotel is located in a very local neighborhood and although not super closecto the beach it is a walkable distance. I got lost, without battery on my phone and the person at the reception was super helpful."

"The Literary Man was one of the most unique places I've ever stayed. It was so fun to explore the grounds, both inside and out, and our room was very good sized and beautifully maintained. The breakfast was top notch for a European style breakfast, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating."
