“Our stay at Howler House was just as we imagined it could be. The hosts were absolutely amazing and quick with responses. Shanna picked us up from the water taxi, arranged our excursions, and was so helpful with any questions we had about the area. Kenny was there daily cleaning the pool or the yard. They both were so easy to talk to and really enjoyed spending time with them. The monkeys were all around and there was 2 babies that were very curious and came quite close. A wonderful……

The room was clean, cozy, and a good spot to relax after being out for the day running around. The staff was friendly and helpful. “Manuel and Anna were the absolute best hosts. They picked us up from the ferry and took us on a tour of Belize City on the way to their home where the studio apartment is located. We stopped at the grocery store, purchased dinner from a local woman selling traditional food, and stopped at the liquor store near their home before checking in to the cutest, cleanest room. The bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in, the shower had great water pressure, and the breakfast the next day……

“This place is a DUMP !! False advertisement. Described on website as a deluxe 1 bedroom studio apartment with fully equipped kitchen overlooking the ocean. We got a very small one room crammed space. A queen sized bed which was 10 steps from the door, a dorm size fridge and small microwave on a table, 1 chair in the corner close to the bed, a rod to hang your clothes. No toiletries, towels or anything. When we inquired about the fully equipped kitchen they took us downstairs to an area that had……

“The host has a terrible attitude and is dishonest . I would not recommend this place to anyone. We (a family of three) booked this place for 2 nights. The host left us 1 washcloth. We asked for additional towels and had to go back and forth with him before he finally agreed to bring 3 more washcloths the following day. He finally showed up the following day with the towels and attempted to open the door without knocking . I opened the door, he handed me the towels without speaking. After we……

AC cranked and the shower was just what was needed after traveling. nosure what else is needed.”
