「Pros: Beautiful location, friendly and available host, affordable, perfect for hikers, clean, kitchen seemed well appointed.Cons: owners are above and you can hear their amorous “noise,” not easy to just run to the store if you need anything, issues with bugs, leaking wall.The other reviewers were not joking when they said the road up serious.」

「I messaged the host immediately after I made this reservation because I needed to clarify something. They never responded. In fact they never communicated at all. Once I got there, the gate was broken, the shower drain was clogged, siding on the house was falling off, and the floor were buckled in multiple spots. For a short term rental none of these problems individually were terrible, but together with the unresponsive host made this stay pretty bad. I would not stay here again. 」

「This place is, as advertised, bizarre and beautiful. My wife and I loved it and will return whenever we visit our son a couple miles up the road. Being from Alaska, AC is very important to us and it worked perfectly for us. The beds were quite comfortable, all the furniture was comfortable, the TV was big and had a great picture, and the kitchen, while small had everything we needed. One caveat though. We would caution people with mobility/accessibility issues . There are uneven steps up or down...
