First, everything we needed to know or that could have been an issue upon arrival was covered by the owner of the property long before we even left for the trip. “We had a great week on Long Lake. Chet and Lauren have done a lot of work on their property, and it shows. The cabins were very quaint, comfortable and clean, especially the beds. I like that we brought all our own linens and bedding, I feel that is more efficient for both owner and guest. The lake, the use of the resort's aluminum rowboats (we attached our own motor), grills, firepit and outdoor furniture made it a fun, relaxing week and we all agreed we would definitely like to return to……

“The setting was beautiful! The kitchen sink and shower were so disgusting, we went to town for cleanser and cleaned them before we could use them. The refrigerator was dirty and had other peoples food (condiments etc) in it. There were cob webs with spiders and eggs under the table in the living room. We only stayed 2 nights of our three booked. There wasn't a can opener or toaster in the kitchen. There were also two gun safes in our cabin! ”
