Amazing View, Off season fee's could be cheaper

The Property itself was amazing. Clean, stocked and exactly as advertised. The fees for the property were a little unfair seeing as how they only had 1 pool open before memorial day weekend and literally no staff on location of the building I was at. Checking in was a hassle not knowing where to go and how to get to the room.

Beautiful 5-day weekend!!

Check in was laborious, but once we finally got to our room … all was well! Lovely place, beautiful beach, fantastic amenities!

Perfect stay for a weekend. Only notes, conveyed to VACASA: blankets on bed need to be laundered - stinky no silverware - cooking ware good Other than those (2) items, loved the place and would book again.

Bethany Beach.

The ocean view was really nice. We knew ahead of time that there would be maintenace going on, but were surprised at just how loud it was. Otherwise a nice stay. We like the area and will be back.

Very nice, clean, functional unit

We were four adults for five nights and really enjoyed this unit. It was clean and well furnished. Having the extra half bathroom made it very do-able for four people. Pull out couch is not ideal or super comfortable but it worked ok. Proximity to beach is excellent and the view was great, just above the units in front of you.

Overall pretty good!

The floors were sticky in both bathrooms, and I found someone's airpod on the floor: something that would have been noticed if the place was vacuumed. The wifi was very fast, but also unreliable - YouTube videos would pause to buffer in the middle, and if the doors were closed, it didn't seem to work at all in the bathrooms or bedroom. Aside from those minor issues, and I do want to stress that they felt minor, the stay was great! The view was fantastic, the hvac worked well, and the kitchen was stocked with everything (aside from food) that I needed.

Perfect solo getaway

Loved this cosy apartment for my solo getaway! The view right onto the ocean was everything!!! Easy access to the beach for long walks along the crashing surf. Check-in process was too much (emails, texts, documents to sign, check-in required off-property) just to park and stay two nights. Note the TV has no streaming services, but is the only place you can obtain the WiFi & password!?! Also, could not find the recycling, which was also odd. But, none of that ruined my good time! Pleasantly surprised there was a bathtub — it looked from the photos that the bathroom was shower only. I loved my stay and would visit again in a heartbeat.

Great location and amenities, issues with communication and cleanliness

The access to the beach and other sea colony amenities was great and worth the additional service fees. The unit was mostly clean with exception of the bathroom floor and we did have issues with the shower not draining upon arrival. We communicated this to the guest services line (via text as the phone line was not answered) and received confirmation a ticket was created. We did not receive any updates through the end of our stay, and no attempt to fix the issue was made. This did significantly impact our ability to shower which unfortunately had a negative impact to the vacation. We did still have a good trip, and our daughter was able to make the most of the time but the lack of response to an important issue (our opinion I guess) made it clear that we were just a number.

Nice stay at Sea colony, Bethany beach

Great location , very nice beach, community has a lot to offer including multiple swimming pools, tennis courts, gym, etc. Condo where we stayed is ok for 2-3 people, not 4. Furniture, floors need an update, especially pullout sofa . It looks very outdated, dirty and wasn’t comfortable even for teenager. Kitchen is modern and washer/dryer is a great bonus . Ocean view is a big plus. However , I would choose something more modern next time, unless this apartment goes thru makeover

Just right for two with a beautiful view!

This one bedroom apartment on the 5th floor has a beautiful view of the beach and ocean. The sunrise in the morning was spectacular. The kitchen is cute and fairly recently remodeled. The bathrooms were fine and the bed was comfortable. The living room furniture is a little worn and not terribly comfortable, but was fine for a short stay.

Great view…..

The view of the ocean and beach is great from this unit. Unfortunately the seating in the condo isn’t comfortable for long term enjoyment. The mattress is also rock hard and the bedroom is right by the elevators. The kitchen is also very sparsely furnished. There was only one wine “glass” and it was plastic. I would expect the kitchen to have at least 4 of things since the unit can sleep up to 4 adults. The full bath is fine but could stand for a makeover (including a better shower head). The condo is fine for a short stay but wouldn’t plan on cooking meals in the unit.

Great vaca!

#502 was spectacular! First time staying at Sea Colony and it was so enjoyable. Our unit was very clean and comfortable. The location was perfect. I would definitely return.

Great view and location. Walking distance to Bethany boardwalk. Be aware it’s not stocked with any basics (foil, salt, pepper, coffee). Would recommend though.
