Nice get-away

We had a great view of the ocean from the balcony. It was a quick walk to the beach or shopping center (directly across hwy. There are restaurants you can walk to and a deli on-site.

Nice condo with a nice view.

The place was very comfortable for 6 adults. Some things could use alittle updating and the floors could have been cleaned alittle better. I would definitely recommend Vacasa for any rentals wherever you travel.

Amazing!

The home was amazing. The only thing is that it’s only on the 2nd floor. But you still get an amazing view and a homey feeling! Very modern and beautiful! We will definitely be staying here again!

Great stay/ location— with small tweaks could be perfect.

It’s small and cozy, and super conveniently located. For our combo of people (1 adult couple, 1 elderly couple, and two same sex/ gender teens), it was great. We have some serious food allergies and food issues in our group, so we likely cooked more than most people do on vacation, and the kitchen could use a 12 inch skillet and a sheet pan, but otherwise, this was lovely and exactly what it said it was. We had a great experience. Loved the balcony. Loved that there were so many places to stash stuff.

Great location

Great location on the beach with pools. Walking distance to restaurants and mini golf. Washing machine was broken and when we called Vacasa said they were aware of the problem. But apparently they didn’t think it was important to fix or even let us know when we checked in. That’s the reason it lost a star.

Needs a little TLC

We loved the Sea Colony Resort. We loved the proximity to everything yet the privacy at the same time. Also liked the security. Grounds were we’ll kept and beautiful. This was our first time to Bethany Beach and I’d highly recommend the Resort.

Great vacation!

Overall we loved this condo and would stay again. It was in a very convenient location with easy parking and a nice view (although you can see the parking garage). The bedrooms were nice and the bunk beds were a hit for our kids. There were some things that needed to be repaired- the screws were out of the bunked ladder, some holes where outlet covers should have been, the top of the blinds was off, and a big cardboard box from a new coffee table was tucked under the countertop. One thing that drove me crazy was there wasn’t a broom! With 4 young kids, the sand and crumbs were constant.

The Sea Colony Resort was Beautiful and I’d stay there again in a heartbeat. This unit was very nice but was not all it was listed as. For instance 1 roll of toilet paper, 1 roll of paper towels, 1 garbage bag for week. No beach towels provided. All things that would have been nice to know beforehand. Also curtains in living room we’re hanging off . Hole in master bathroom. Lots of dust and it was listed as 5 star and trust me I paid 5 star…. It wasn’t 5 star..,

This condo has many cleanliness issues

The condo looks nice on the website but when we checked in we found many cleanliness issues. The floors are sandy and has hair on them; there are vacuum bags in the dresser drawers in the bunk bed room; there is a big empty TV box and used beach towels hanging in the master bedroom closet; brownish stains on a bathroom rug and blanket in the bunk bed room, hair in the kitchen drawers; the storage under the sink in the master bedroom is dirty. We don’t feel welcomed at all when we got into the condo. We just don’t understand how this place can be rented out in such messy condition. We got nice email saying the pillows are being fluffed and the condo is ready for your checked in but it’s not the case at all. Although Vacasa did send someone to clean our floors after we notified them of the issues.

Avoid--major habitability issues

Upon arrival, we discovered 202 Georgetown at Sea Colony had multiple major issues that impacted our stay and cost significant time over the first few days. Specifically, we could not enter the property upon arrival. The lock did not work, forcing me to track down maintenance while my wife and kids waited outside. They desperately needed the bathroom after a long drive--not great. A mechanical lock with only two keys is a significant inconvenience when multiple adults are staying at the property. A modern keypad with a reprogrammable code would be far more convenient, but this property does not invest in upkeep. Then I discovered we had no hot water. Maintenance wound up spending an hour or so tearing apart and re-doing the shower plumbing. They were also able to cover up one of the exposed outlets, but were not able to fix the broken towel rack and another exposed electrical outlet that was higher on the wall. After raising these issues repeatedly, we were told the property manager Rachel would contact us. She did not. Vacasa did issue a $100 refund, which we feel is insufficient for the degree of habitability issues we experienced and the total cost of $4,558.40 we paid. This property is not adequately maintained for the prices charged. We enjoyed Sea Colony but I would strongly urge others to avoid 202 Georgetown.

1st Timers

Counter space was nice. Loved having a washer/dryer in our condo. The hot water was not working (I called and received no call back) so cold showers all week. The TV in the Master did not work.
