Stone farmhouse in the eighteenth century in a typical Burgundian village in the heart of Auxois, fully renovated eco authentic, comfortable. A haven of peace, you will be quiet as in the garden only from the fireplace.
Lodging:
This spacious farmhouse eighteenth century combines the authenticity of a Burgundian stone to the comfort of a renovated building in the eco design furniture.
The house is composed of a large open living area and very bright 80m² with kitchen (cooking piano, 2 ovens + microwave oven, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge and freezer), TV lounge, living room with fireplace, dining room. Food lovers will rave kitchen 20m² very equipped with fondue, raclette, with sparkling water, bread, juicer, etc ...
This central room leads to a bedroom with 1 double bed with bathroom and walk-in shower, a bedroom with fireplace offering 2 single beds, 1 baby room with 1 bed 60x120 bars in the old bread oven (convertible into bedroom booster with a single bed 90x190) and 1 WC. An extra cot is available on request. All baby equipment is available: pot, changing table, bath ...
The wood for the barbecue and fireplace is provided.

Guests have access to the house is independent, as well as 2000m² of garden around the property including several terraces, barbecue, orchard, hut, slide and swings for children. A small outbuilding is also available in which there are 4 adult bikes available, including 2 fitted with a child seat.
Trade with travelers:
Murielle residing opposite, will be available throughout the stay in case of problems, and to learn about the activities and possible visits.
You will find in the living room all the necessary guides for the activities, excursions, visits to castles, restaurants, wine tasting ...

The house is in the heart of a typical Burgundian village of a hundred souls. The street serving the property is hopeless and very quiet. View of the church tower. The Burgundy canal and cycle route passes through the village.

You'll need a vehicle. If you arrive by train in Montbard, Hertz rental possible.
It is possible to park several cars in front of the house without problems. Access to the house is without steps or stairs.

Schönes renoviertes Bauernhaus in ruhiger Lage
Wir , 2 Ehepaare, hatten eine entspannte Woche direkt am canal de bourgogne, ideal zum Fahrrad fahren und für Motorradtouren.
Dass das Bad nur über eins der Schlafzimmer zu erreichen war, war nicht so ideal, darüberhinaus war die Spülmaschine defekt und wurde auch nicht ersetzt.
Trotzdem war es eine schöne Woche bei gutem Wetter und viel Vin de Bourgogne.

Ruim, rustig gelegen huis. Ligging uitstekend om alles in Bourgondie te bezoeken. Pouilly dichtbij voor alle boodschappen, van supermarkt tot patisserie.

Our stay in Beurizot.
This is a wonderful area of France with beautiful villages and excellent drives. The residence we rented is very unique, an old building nicely remodeled in a modern style. It is spacious and fairly well equipped. The large glass doors give good views of the outside but allow in too much sun in the summer. There are no shades for privacy or to keep out the sun. There are no screens for the windows or doors and there are many flies. There was no fan there to help cool the heat. There were four bicycles but all had flat tires. The exterior grounds are neglected and we could not use the patio or lawn furniture. The village is pleasant with easy access to the canal and many country roads. It is a beautiful area.
Do not visit the Château Éguilly nearby. It is often listed as a site to visit but is privately owned by a disturbed and violent person. We rode up to it on bikes on its entry drive and the owner ran out unprovoked, struck me on the head and knocked me down and physically threatened my daughter and me. This no joke. I regret that I could not stay in France longer to file assault charges against him.

Séjour agréable
Maison spacieuse et agréable.Cuisine bien agencée et très fonctionnelle.
Bonne literie,par contre le canapé du séjour mériterait d’être changé et des portemanteaux à l’entrée seraient appréciables.

Beautiful home and garden, and very helpful host
We had a wonderful stay at David’s property - the house is spacious and well equipped; we made full use of the bikes on the canal de Bourgogne nearby- Beurizot is perfectly situated in gorgeous countryside and driving distance to Pouilly-en-Auxois, with bakeries, butcher, pharmacies and supermarket. Muriel, who lives opposite, was incredibly helpful and kind and David was an excellent host. The garden is also great- spacious and plenty of space . We would happily stay here again.

Très belle maison, endroit très calme
Maison très bien entretenue avec bcp d'espace et de clarté. Endroit très calme et reposant. La voisine est là quand on a besoin. Juste à conseillé un plus grand sèche linge pour l'extérieur et un freezer. Ou sinon rien à dire, au top. On reviendra

On a passé un séjour très agréable, au calme. La maison est tres bien arrangée et décorée et la terrasse et le jardin permettent de prendre des repas à l'extérieur.

Le temps s'arrête.....
Nous avons passé un merveilleux week-end dans cette maison où il est facile de trouver ses marques et où nous nous sommes très vite sentis "comme à la maison" . Nous avons apprécié la cheminée (merci pour la gratuité du bois) et le calme de ce charmant village. Nous cherchions un endroit pour un week-end romantique, nous n'avons pas été déçus ! Notre seul regret est de ne pas avoir pu profiter de la campagne (et du canal de bourgogne qui traverse le village) pour faire un tour de vélos car la météo n'a pas été très bonne ! Mais malgré cela nos journées ont été bien remplies car il y a beaucoup de choses à découvrir dans cette jolie région où il fera bon revenir :-)

Un vrai havre de paix idéal pour les familles avec enfants
Très jolie maison, au calme, refaite avec goût et idéale pour les familles avec enfants (équipement nécessaire sur place + vélos avec siège enfant et casque + un immense coffre à jouets + cabane et balançoire dans le jardin). Location très bien équipée, la cuisine en particulier (ustensiles et ingrédients type sucre, sel, café, condiments, etc.) qu'on se dispense d'acheter et de ramener pour quelques jours, c'est appréciable !
Propriétaire réactif, accueil très chaleureux et grande disponibilité de la voisine résidant en face de la location. Location à proximité des grands axes - que vous veniez du nord ou du sud - et très facilement accessible.
Seul petit point négatif : une seule salle de bains située dans une chambre et non indépendante.

Ländliche Idylle
Die Entscheidung für den Ort Beurizot und das Haus von David war goldrichtig für uns.
Beurizot ist ein bewohntes kleines Dorf ohne eigene Infrastruktur, die nächste Einkaufsmöglichkeit ist im 10km entfernten Pouilly-en- Auxois, wo es auch Restaurants gibt, wir können aber nichts empfehlen.
Zentral genug gelegen, um alle kunsthistorisch bedeutsamen Orte anzuschauen, kann man aber auch nur die Idylle vor Ort genießen, vor sich hin träumen, lesen, oder ein bisschen Fahrrad fahren. Man kann den ganzen Tag die Sonne genießen, vor und hinter dem Haus.
4 Fahrräder, Grill sowie eine gut ausgestattete Küche sind vorhanden. Sehr angenehm war auch, dass es eine Grundausstattung mit Gewürzen gab (manche waren allerdings nicht mehr taufrisch, aber kein Problem.)
Die Schlüsselübergabe und die Einweisung ins Haus durch die wirklich sehr nette und hilfsbereite Nachbarin Muriel war problemlos.
Das einzige, was man bei einer Belegung mit 4 Erwachsenen bemängeln könnte, ist, dass sich das Bad innerhalb des einen Schlafzimmers befindet, sodass klar ist, die Schläfer dort müssen immer zuerst aufstehen und zuletzt ins Bett gehen. Das WC ist aber separat.
Auch die Ablagefläche für Handtücher, besonders wenn sie feucht sind, ist etwas knapp.

Simply great!
The house is very nice and beautifully renovated. Muriel, the neighbor who handled our stay is very friendly and helpful. The house is equipped very well, even with very good bikes with child seats.
