"The exterior of the property is scruffy and ill kept, paint peeling and the stair treads are broken in places. The windows are so dirty you cannot see through them. We booked the hotel because it had a restaurant and I did not want to drive in the evenings - when we got there we were told them were not serving dinner that evening, that the restaurant was full. The receptionist was not helpful or apologetic - we could have gone to any number of hotels nearby but chose this for the restaurant. The breakfast was minimal and they ran out of coffee. Not impressed."

"No tea or coffee in the room do not turn up on a Sunday. The Resturant is closed. There is no food. You have to leave the premises to eat. Currently the hotel is under renovation."

It’s clear the owners have poured love into every aspect. The setting is peaceful and relaxing, with a great pool area ideal for lounging after a day of exploring. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, served on the terrace or dining room depending on the weather. This place is perfect if you’re looking for a quiet, restful stay with a personal touch. We left feeling completely recharged and can’t wait to return. Highly recommended!"

"We had an excellent time here. The place is very quaint and was just perfect for the two of us and our little dog. The best thing was steps to the awesome beach. We were close to town and a little grocery store at the end of the block. Bigger one down about 1km and downtown area with some fun dining experiences. The hosts were great and very welcoming. "This could easily have been an excellent experience but it was spoiled by: Check-in - told by the owner that we didn't have a booking! Room - overlooked a construction site (no mention on booking or check-in). Started at 7.00 two days. Bathroom - cramped Monday 16th - construction and gardening/clearing noise all day. Pool - not available for an early swim, still being cleaned at 10.45! Shame really as the hotel is well located, spotless and the staff are lovely and friendly. "
