“Brilliant stay, lovely owners! Short walk into town, would stay again!”

“In a great spot with parking on site if booked ahead. The room was small and dominated by the bed. The bathroom was a wet room style and pretty much everything in there did get wet because it was small. Good place to stop for one night, not sure it was a large enough room to stay for significantly longer.”

“The property and rooms were absolutely beautiful. Only problem we had was carrying our luggage up a couple of long flights of stairs. (no elevator in this older building) I noticed that help was offered to several other people checking in, and was curious about that.”

“Staff was excellent in explaining the location and sites to see. The location is excellent and very quiet. I enjoyed the homemade breakfast items as described previously in prior reviews. The hotel is easy to access and they arranged a taxi to return to the airport to be driven to St Jean de pied pont. You will enjoy a night exploring in Biarritz before the Camino Frances. The French Rivera is beautiful”

“总体来说酒店非常漂亮，地理位置也很好。唯一缺陷是我入住的小套房，卫生间没有浴缸，也没有独立的冲淋空间，马桶和冲淋空间和唯一一个洗漱台盆是在一个4平米不到的小房间内，每次冲淋完，整个卫生间的所以地方都是湿的，包括马桶。第一次看到如此奇怪的卫生间，感觉是装修到中途还没继续下去的。酒店一楼海边餐厅做的没那么好吃，甜品还不错。总体来说性价比不高，1600欧元一晚上，卫生间装修的有点简陋了。期待改善”

“It's truly a boutique hotel, personally owned by one man since 2005. It took him 2 years to renovate a neglected 19th century stable and create a luxurious retreat. The hotel only has 8 rooms (making it the smallest 5-star hotel in France), and it's open during Biarritz' high season, only 4 months. The grounds are beautiful, the rooms are tastefully decorated in a blend of modern and period furnishings. The art collection is French Modernist (think Bernard Buffett), the glass is blown glass from……

“Small room and bathroom with a small shower that does not shield water well. The floor is very watery after the shower. There’s room to improve.”
