A perfect getaway...

We were staying for 4 nights. Accommodation wonderful. Hosts were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was made to feel it was individually made especially for you, including wonderful home baking. You also felt you had total privacy. The location was central. A 10 minute walk. We would definitely go back and recommend.

In general, we had a good stay. The place is safe and clean, but I have to mention that it had a noticeable humid smell. The sweet breakfast in the morning was okay, in my opinion. The host is a very nice lady, but she doesn’t speak English, which made communication difficult, although she did her best to assist us and provide information. Parking is not available on the property, so you need to find a spot on the street, which was challenging time to time. Unfortunately, I can’t say we were satisfied with our stay considering what we paid.

Charmante maison d'hôte à proximité du centre-ville de Biaritz. La piscine est très agréable et très propre. Le propriétaire est fort sympatique. Cela étant, il est important de mentionner qu'il n'y a pas de stationnement et que les visiteurs doivent se stationner dans la rue, ce qui est compliqué à Biaritz. Également, la propriétaire mène une gestion du cycle de vie des serviettes quelque peu intrusive pour des vacanciers. Ceci dit, c'est un excellent endroit abordable pour visiter la ville.

La piscina es fabulosa cuando llegas de viaje para relajar un poco las piernas y un par de butacas para cada habitación El entorno está muy bien, tiene un espacio común con neveras y lo que necesites para almorzar fuera. Annie y Marc son muy agradables La habitación y baño están muy bien, un poco pequeña quizás pero decorada con gusto, al fin y al cabo es para dormir. Nos prepararon el desayuno 1h antes, muy agradecido, los croissants y la confitura de cereza fabulosos. El aparcamiento es en la calle pero Annie nos había guardado un sitio. Me llevo un muy buen recuerdo

Très agréable séjour passé dans cette chambre d'hôtes calme et bien située (depuis laquelle tout est faisable à pied), confortable et à la propreté irréprochable. Hôtes attentionnés et pleins de bons conseils. Nous recommandons vivement !

We selected this option because it was billed as dog friendly - but when we arrived we were told we'd been moved to the smallest room because of our dog, and that the dog could not be outside at all in the garden. We ultimately changed lodging because the room was so small and we felt very uncomfortable/not welcome. The house itself was nice and the room was clean, but not as expected, and directly attached the owner's living area, so there was zero privacy.

Maison sans charme dans Biarritz. La piscine n'a que ce nom, c'est un grand bassin. Jardin tres étriqué. Chambre très petite et peu ensoleillée mais joliment décorée et propreté impeccable. Accueil sympatique au départ, puis Madame insiste trop sur des consignes basiques (comment fermer la porte, allumer la télévision, allumer le chauffage etc...), même quand elle voit qu'on comprend. Cela crée une impression de stress qui ne met pas dans de bonnes conditions. N'a absolument pas interragi avec nous lors du petit déjeuner (alors que c est une ex-gagnante du jeu "Bienvenue chez nous" que nous avions trouvé très sympatique à l'antenne. Fatigue ou lassitude? Dailleurs, nous avons eu l'impression de déranger en demandant le petit-déjeuner pour 07h00. Nous avons préféré l'accueil de Monsieur qui nous a agréablement accompagné lors du petit-déjeuner. Ce dernier, quasi exclusivement sucré, n'offre pas de spécialités Basques, comme décrit sur leur site internet, sauf peut-être le fromage, proposé en toute fin de petit dejeuner. Peut-être est ce parce que l'heure demandée était trop matinale? Bilan donc très mitigé, les bons points sont pour l'accueil de Monsieur et la propreté de la chambre.

Annie and Marc were terrific hosts! Their home is beautiful, very clean, and housewarming. Their interaction and suggestions for dinner where perfect. I enjoyed the breakfast every morning. The house is a Short 10 min walk to center of town. Close to everything but on a quite street. Absolutly loved this place and will only stay here from now on.

Hyvä vaihtoehto hotellimajoitukselle

KIva yksityistalossa sijaitseva B&B -kohde: rauhallinen ympäristö, lähiaikoina valmistunut talo miniuima-altaalla ja pienellä pihalla, johon sijoitettu ruokailuterassi jääkaappeineen, mikrouunineen ja pesualtaineen vieraille. Huone itsessään (yläkrs:ssa pikkuparvekkeella) oli aika pieni, mutta riittävä ja kivasti sisustettu. Isäntäpari oli ihastuttava - erityisesti isäntä, joka oli otettu ranskaa puhuvista vieraista. Heiltä sai hyviä vinkkejä nähtävyyksiin ja muuhun ohjelmaan. Aamiainen oli hyvä, siihen sai jopa paistettuja/keitettyjä munia ja emännän tekemää erinomaista crème brûléea. Kadulta löytyy helposti autolla katupaikka eikä keskustaankaan ole pitkä kävelymatka. Lähistöllä ravintoloita ym. palveluita. Suosittelen lämpimästi!
