"Positives - The balcony is genuinely useful for drying clothes and towels. On-site parking is a major plus in Hossegor as street parking is a nightmare, though spaces fill quickly. The location itself is excellent and easily walkable to both the lake and town centre. Negatives - Check-in & Access: The door code didn't work. Hôtel AKENA Biarritz - Grande plage

10/10 Excellent

"I really enjoyed staying at this property. It was clean and comfortable with a lovely view out into the courtyard. The staff was amazing and helpful."

Grand Tonic Hotel & SPA NUXE

10/10 Excellent

"Staff were very helpful with a mosquito that got in our room. One thing to note about the underground garage - the entrance is narrow and at a set of traffic lights. The kerbs are also high, as I found out when I didn’t get the angle of entry to the garage quite correct (due to there being a car at the traffic lights). The kerb damaged my hire car. I wonder if the kerb at the garage opening might be trimmed or protected?"

Alfred Hotels Port-Vieux

10/10 Excellent

"This is a lovely hotel situated on the main street leading down to the small beach at Port Vieux , Biarritz. We received a very warm welcome from the staff and a welcome drink ( glass of sangria ) , which was a nice touch. Rooms compact but very cosy with good bathroom and very comfortable bed . Decent breakfast included in the price . 2 minutes walk to coast , and excellent restaurants nearby .Would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to any friends who were visiting Biarritz."

Sure Hotel by Best Western Biarritz Aeroport

8/10 Good

"This hotel is very conveniently located next to Biarritz airport ( just a few minutes walk). The rooms are small but comfortable . It is easy to access downtown Biarritz via taxi...we used Uber . The staff at reception were extremely helpful and very pleasant . It is very good value for money , and a good option if using Biarritz airport."

Pierre & Vacances Résidence premium Haguna

10/10 Excellent

"It does what it says on the tin. No-frills, value for money accommodation. Comfortable bed and excellent kitchen facilities. Very clean. Launderette on the other side of the road. Supermarket and boulangerie two minutes away. A few minutes walk into the centre of town and the beach. Recommended."

Nemea Appart Hotel Les Hauts de Milady Biarritz

8/10 Good

"They really need to look at their cleaning training and general customer expectations. Our closest was filthy, one towel each for a week, half a toilet roll, stains on sheets. However, staff were receptive to our complaints. Breakfast was excellent, pool was great, location was great too."
