“Small family-owned inn located in center of Civitella in Val di Chiana. Room was comfortable and included all we needed. It was cold upon check-in which the co-owner tried to remedy with a space heater. It took a while. The room warmed up after the first night. The other co-owner kindly offered me our first night complimentary. (Thank you again.). “This is a nice property, with beautiful country views from the pleasant garden. Caveats: there are about 60 stairs to get to the apartment; cleanliness left a lot to be desired; it is a split level place with no bathroom in the sleeping area; there are basically no convenient spaces to hang your clothes; a car is a must since the property is isolated and far from any public transportation, if there is any. Andrea, however, was extremely responsive despite a family emergency and helped as far as……
