This wonderful monument is commonly known as the "Mini Taj Mahal". It is located in Aurangabad, Maharashtra, the tourism capital of the state. It is not as large of a complex as the Taj Mahal, but it will certainly be less crowded as well.

At first glance this may look like the Taj Mahal, but it's actually a smaller replica in Aurangabad.

Built by one of the many Prince's there have been in the region as a mausoleum for his mother, very little of it is made from marble like the original, and is instead finished in lime mortar. Despite this pitfall, it is still a very impressive sight and a must do in Aurangabad.
