“Our stay here was cozy, homey, inviting, and perfect for a quiet and simple outing in the Ohio/West Virginia area.My wife and I were hoping for something within drive-able distance to Huntington and Point Pleasant while staying somewhere that had a small cabin feel (that wasn't a totally remote wilderness experience) and this place is perfect. The cabin itself was comfortable, the river lovely, location perfect for our needs, a nice accessible fire pit -- but the REAL treat was the hospitality.……

“We really enjoy coming here — this is our second time this year. I will say the place could use a good deep clean (carpets cleaned & shower curtains replaced etc.) and some basic wear-and-tear fixes. The garage didn’t seem to have been cleaned in a while; I ended up wiping down all the surfaces, including the ping pong table, because it clearly hadn’t been cleaned. I didn’t mind doing it, but I know other guests probably wouldn’t appreciate that.We made Thanksgiving dinner during our stay, and……
