Great cabin- lots of character
Nice place. Comfortable with lots of mountain touches. A little annoyed by all the extra and convoluted check in steps required by Big Bear Cool Cabins. Outside of first email requiring signature of online contract, there was second requiring a Copy of drivers license and photo, and we thought we were done. But then there was a third email requiring that we text back a pdf brochure with our signature and a copy of our credit card, after we were paid in full and had provided credit card to Vrbo. Also, The access code for the cabin was buried in an email - with a nondescript email titled “county confirmation.” It was a bit frustrating and confusing .
When we called to clarify location of the key which was not described in the access email, Big Bear Cool Cabins was very responsive. All in all, a great experience. A little extra stress on check in that we hadn’t encountered with previous bookings.
