Great Getaway

The location is great, close to the town lake and the ski resorts. All you need is your personal items. They have everything you need, dishes etc. My family is very happy that we stayed here.

Great family getaway

We loved staying here, the kids enjoyed playing games and how close everything is. We went to the Big Bear village, the nature center and zoo, enjoyed October fest, and walked along the lake. Everything was 5 or 10 minutes away driving. My dad who is handicapped stayed with us too and everything in the house was very easy for him to access since it was on one level. It made it the perfect vacation home for our family.

The cabin is super cute, comfy and clean. You have a lot of nearby stuff. We made this trip for Octoberfest. The host made us feel welcomed and kept in contact with me which I appreciated. Definitely recommend this cabin - we will be coming back! Btw LOVED the bear touches everywhere

Our Stay

We had an amazing time. Such a cute cabin. We enjoyed the front and back porches. The spa was very clean and was at the perfect temperature. A couple things that you might want to supply the cabin with would be a bic fire stick to light the bbq. A toilet scrub for the guest bathroom. Also the sink in the Guest bathroom doesn’t drain properly when you brush your teeth you may want to take a look at it.

Cozy Cabin for Families

This house was perfect for a weekend getaway for our family of 6. It was close to shops and ski areas and well equipped with cozy fireplace, lots of blankets, games and movies. Basic spices and soaps were provided. Hot tub was great, but is very small. If you're picky about pillows, kitchen knives and quality cooking pans, bring your own. The Nest goes by living room temperature but blasts heat into the bedrooms - so keep it lower than you normally would at night (64 was good for us).

Loved the kitchen. I would recommend to have a shovel handy or make sure the driveway is clean.

Easier fireplace to operate. A roof over the jacuzzi would be nice. The door in the bathroom does not lock. We wanted to clean the stove but there was no rag to clean it with. But over all 4.5 out of 5. Will book again.

Adult only vacation

We enjoyed the property and the location was great. The furnishings are very nice and comfortable. When you sit on the back patio, you are not bothered by neighbors because of the surrounding pines. The house is centralized close to all attractions and shopping. The mountain was experiencing a heat wave like everywhere else. It got a little warm in the house in the afternoon because of the homes not having cooling. There were portable fans in the house which were a great help and in no way could anyone control the weather. Thanks and would definitely rent again.

Not really a VRBO, this house is through a Rental Agency

Even though this house was really clean, the house itself isn’t owned by a private owner, it’s through a rental agency. Therefore, it lacked what a true VRBO had to offer. There were no condiments to cook with, so the kitchen is unusable. I’m not going to waste money on things like cooking oil and ketchup because I was mislead in to thinking this was a real VRBO. and the beds and sheets were the cheapest I’ve ever come across so it was like staying at a Motel 6 minus the room service. The background was useless, as it was just a patch of dirt. The house is no good for small children, so if you have small children I advise you find a real VRBO house with a real yard. It’s very scammy that VRBO is allowing vacation rental companies to list on their site. We even had to check in a separate location to get they key code. You’re better off staying at a hotel, because at least there is amenities like a pool and free breakfast.
