Great location

We had a great say - it was perfect for the needs of a family of four. Everyone had their own bed and the room was quite large. Excellent storage for all the ski gear and two bathrooms was nice for post ski showers. Location was amazing and made for a very convenient stay. Only knock is that if you don't cook, food options are limited at base camp outside of burgers and other bar food.

Shoshone

Check rates at Huntley vs VRBO. Shoshone condos are nicer with full kitchens, better pool area, and better sleeping arrangements.

This was a great and so convenient place to stay for the Rut Mountain runs! Vacasa does a great job of providing a comfortable and clean environment for sleeping and relaxing.

Great spot!

We were very happy with our stay here. Only complaints would be that we had no access to onsite laundry facility and that the kitchen needed a better frying pan and sponge/dishwasher tabs. Otherwise, location can't be beat and nice being in a hotel with pool/hot tub and restaurants right there.

About as close to the Big Sky sky village as possible

The location of the Shoshone condos are great. A very short walk to the 'base camp', where there are two primary ski lifts. An even shorter walk to 2 restaurants and lunch locations. The condo hot tub and connected heated pool are awesome. The pool passes did not work, apparently the front desk says they get 're-keyed' every other day. (no big deal). Our condo was more spacious than our companion travelers. The murphy bed was fine for my 6'4" son, and the pull out couch worked for our 3rd guest. The kitchen worked just fine. Our only complaint was that the front door lock was 'finicky', but we figured it out after the 2nd day.

An almost perfect stay!!

We loved the location and space. Perfect for the 5 of us. Beautiful views and easy access to several lifts. Fun nightly activities. Hot pool awesome at the adjoining property Huntley. Shoshone pool not very hot. While communication with property management was good, they didn’t actually fix either of our 2 issues we reported right away. Lights out in living room and tons of hair on one of the murphy bed blankets. Neither thing was fixed or replaced. Also one of our hair dryers didn’t work but we didn’t bother reporting it bc we felt it wouldn’t have been fixed anyway. We were there 4 nights. Easy walk to the village and fun bars and apre ski.

There is built up dirt all around the edges of the carpet, has an old smell to it, was not clean

I hate writing a negative review, but the local Vacasa manager never called me like I was told they would, so I couldn’t just let them know what was going on directly. This unit seems like it is clean when you walk in, but after you look around you start to notice that it is actually quite dirty.The unit has an odd scent to it; I think because the carpets need to be replaced or shampooed. The kitchen sink wasn’t cleaned- I went to get a glass of water upon entering the condo, and saw the remnants of someone’s coffee and long dark hairs still in the sink (which were easily rinsed out with just water- but shows it wasn’t cleaned before we arrived).The edges of the carpet have built up dirt and debris on them. The master bed was made but some of the pillows didn’t have pillowcases on them (and no more pillowcases in the unit). The floor on the master bath was sticky and had hair and dirt. We were given an incorrect code for the parking lot and had to call the resort get the right code while waiting outside of the gate. We had to ask for keys to enter the pool (which thankfully they got right to us, but I didn’t realize until I had lugged my kids down to the pool and then we had to go back upstairs to call someone to ask for a key). We actually left a night early because our plan had been to just relax and watch March Madness on Saturday, and this isn’t a place we felt like you could just relax. I am guessing the owners will respond with another comment saying they have retrained their cleaning staff- but I think it’s safe to say that the training you have been doing isn’t effective. The stove and counters are clean, but you have a lot of areas where dirt has built up that need to be deep cleaned. Big Sky resort is amazing. This location is fantastic. The hotel seems great overall (dining room a bit dated), but this unit needs some love!!

Comfortable and convenient

The condo was exactly as described. There were 2 of us staying there but it would have comfortably have fit 6. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. Skiing and several restaurants were steps away.

Great Location - Will Probably Book Again

Great location and nice amenities. Hot Tub leads to heated pool outside which my son loved. Ski Rental in same building. Able to store my personal skis at rental place and rental includes free valet which was nice with kids.

Nice but Vacasa is poor management

Great condo with great location and amenities. The owners need to find another vacation management company. Vacasa does not answer emergency phone calls. Parking permits wee not in unit, toaster and vanity light not working, spare blankets were not cleaned. Vacasa finally responded to email and sent clean blankets halfway through trip, but never remedied other issues

Great Location! Wonderful view of the mountains

Our stay was satisfactory. The location is great. The management is very impersonal and distant. We were missing kitchen towels. They said they would bring them by but never did. Also we needed to store our luggage after check out, as we were traveling with public transport. There was no option to do so. This meant we could not ski on the last day. A big disappointment. It's a nice resort.
