「Beautiful hotel out in the quiet countryside, very peaceful unless they are having an event ( they do weddings) but these are nice affairs and it’s nice to see how the Spanish do weddings. But after 1100am all quite so well controlled by the hotel. This really is a unique and quite divine hotel, we stayed in the main building with our Dogs but you can stay in one of the eight chalet time apartments they have on the grounds which looked beautiful with fantastic views to all sides. 「The hotel is not modern but it is very clean and the beds are comfortable. There is an excellent cafe across the street. It is within walking distance of the beach and several restaurants. The BAM bus from/to Alicante stops less than 1 block away. I have stayed here four times and would come back again.」

「Had a really lovely stay here . The location is absolutely AMAZING and more than made up for anything lacking . Welcome was lovely and room ready before the 4pm check-in . Yes the rooms are a bit dated and perhaps some of the outside and inside need a bit of tlc but they were clean and with all the bits needed to self cater well. We loved being able to sit and look at the sea and hear it as we slept . For what we paid it was an absolute bargain and we will definitely be back .」

The rooms are completely renovated, and I actually love how they preserve the "classic" style of a hotel in many ways when it comes to cleaning (not like those that pretend to be ecological just to save a buck). The pictures on this listing should be updated as it's much better than depicted here. Also, as the reviews so say, the staff in the hotel is great.」

「One slight problem the name suggests is by the port. It isn't, but that didn't ruin our stay. It was a very short walk away. We didn't know how to use the hob and they were there immediately to show me. Our next place, can't be bothered with all their unknown rules prior to booking had we known we would have stayed longer in this appartment. One rule is to pay 150€ deposit for any breakages or missing items. No Inventry, ONE knife, four spoons, and forks. Obviously you have to take turns...
