I made reservation for three nights at Big Fork, MT. The rental said it was in Big Fork and the address was in Big Fork. I used to live in the nearby area so I needed no GPS directions. But when I arrived in Big Fork I inserted the address only to find it was NOT in Big Fork but 12 miles South on the Reservation. (False Advertising). We made our way back to the location. The room was filthy! The carpet was so filthy we kept our shoes on. I took photos of the filth in the kitchen. The oven had not been cleaned - apparently for months! There were spilled foodstuffs, chunks of pepperoni, Melba toast and a glaze of hardened, spilled gunk all over the oven floor. There is no conceivable way we could use the oven. We opened a drawer by the sink and there were cookie crumbs (or something) strewn throughout it! Again, I have the photo. We were in the wrong location and obviously in a substandard VRBO. We contacted the VRBO office and told them there is absolutely no way we could stay there. Unfortunately it was late in the evening so we had no choice but to spend the night. We didn’t use the shower, no bath towels were used. We simply used 1 wash cloth and some toilet paper. We left early in the morning TO Big Fork (as we assumed we were going in the first place) and contacted VRBO demanding a refund. They humiliated us by saying they would offer us a 15 percent refund for our inconvenience. We felt betrayed and robbed by their false advertising and unclean state and selfishness.
