“We had a lovely stay at Drake Cottage. The cottage is beautiful, both on the inside and on the outside. Everything is spotless, including the modern appliances. We've stayed at many vacation rentals, but this one is by far the cleanest we've seen. Everything you need is already provided for, including tape, a flashlight, soap, scissors, you name it. There's lots to see and do in and around Saffron Walden. Even a trip to London is only an hour by train from Audley End. We would have loved to stay……

“No 11 is delightful. It is well furnished and extremely comfortable. Andy is a terrific host and very good at communicating. Having the village shop just round the corner is useful and the cottage is conveniently located to explore the area. If you are tall though, you need to remember to duck, as it’s an old cottage (albeit really well renovated) but the doorways and beams are low. ”

“Stayed at Little Trees because we were visiting elderly parents who live nearby. Nice peaceful location. The place was spotless. Everything was provided - towels, shampoo, shower gel, bread, butter, milk etc. couldn’t have asked for more. Would definitely stay again. Bed a little low and soft for me but actually slept really well. ”
