"Unfortunately we had issues from the very start of our stay. We were told check in would be at 3pm. We arrived at around 4pm only to find the cleaners were still there cleaning. We had to wait over an hour until they finished. The property has aged a lot and has not been well maintained at all with several safety issues. The upper deck which accesses the main bedroom had broken and missing floor boards leaving the only stair access and outdoor deck unsafe and unusable. The windows in the dining area had no safety mechanism, opening completely to a high and dangerous drop - as we had children in our stay we could not open the windows which was also an issue in the heat. More importantly we had asked the agent to confirm before our stay whether the house was fully air conditioned due to the recent extreme hot weather. The agent assured us in writing the house was fully air conditioned. This was incorrect and a misrepresentation. There was only 2 small a/c units (1 in the main bedroom upstairs which failed to cool the large room, and 1 in a smaller bedroom). All other rooms and living areas only had a fan which did not help when we had very hot weather. The carpets are old and quite stained. Downstairs smelt musty and damp. For the price we expected a much better standard. The response from the agent to our issues was poor, incorrectly addressing us with the wrong name and using auto generated responses that still said “[insert guest name here]”"

"Simple but modern recently renovated room. Parking is tight (physically) but we arrived in between check out and check in times so whoever couldn’t access our room as we were too early , we got a space. Recommend doing this as parking tricky in area at weekends Good value overall"

"The flat was very nice with a good floor plan and nice rooms, kitchen and bathrooms.We all felt it was dusty - the louvers in the bedroom and the couches, and the car space was very dirty and dusty, which is not good when you're going to a function and have to step through a dusty space to get in your car.The telly remote was totally flat. There was almost no coffee, tea or sugar in the kitchen and the cleaner charge is well too high even if it was a very well done job, but it wasn't.All said, I'd stay there again, but the place needs to be cleaned well and well stocked with provisions. It isn't atm."

"Stair access was shown on the website as only one flight from the street entrance. From the carpark this would involve many more stairs - not made clear. There is an extra flight of stairs within the actual building not mentioned on the website.Heating was totally inadequate - two small Dysons for a large uncarpeted living space were not efficient at all and limited power points in the living room area only made it more difficult. The place gets no sun at all so even colder. Beds - linen was clean but beds poorly made - doona cover in one room had no fasteners. Spare doonas were not covered. Kitchen and laundry frig and microwave, stove, dishwasher etc were good but dinner ware really cheap and not matching. Bethrooms good - showers excellent. We left a night early as so cold - and we did have warm clothing with us. 3pm check in and 10am checkout made this a very pricey stay for basically less than 36 hours. Australia needs to do better qualitatively. Or - are landlords so cynical that attention to detail isn't that important."
