"The property was exactly as described in the listing. Loved sitting with a glass of wine on the outside patio after a long drive from Italy. Our children found the bunk beds very comfortable and the sofa bed was fine for my husband and I for one night. A great nights sleep and a hot shower before continuing our journey. The caretaker was a true gentleman and assisted us when we struggled to get the key back in the lockbox on check out. The communication with the owner was excellent. "

"Un incroyable hôte, très agréable dans la communication, prêt à aider et à tout expliquer, qui ne nous a pas fait attendre longtemps et qui a même fait des concessions. Appartement très propre, à 5 minutes de l'arrêt de bus, tous les ustensiles de cuisine étaient présents, les draps étaient propres, aucun problème avec l'appartement, et en plus un balcon très confortable. Nous sommes restés satisfaits de cette réservation, nous n'avons pas trouvé un seul défaut, ce qui est assez étonnant."

"The apartment is very small and the bathroom doesn't have a door (just a curtain) which is important to know. The shower drain does not work properly so the water accumulates in the shower. The heating worked well during our stay so we were able to keep warm. The studio doesn't get too much sun. It's a short walk (8 min) from the city center so that's a nice plus. If you're just staying for a brief weekend then it should be fine if you don't plan on spending much time in the studio itself. It...

"A great option for a family stay in Basel. We were travelling from the UK. Could sleep up to 6 comfortably but only one bedroom - with two double beds. Living room had 3 sofa beds - instructions provided to allow them to be flattened. Apartment was clean. Helpful touches were the two Swiss electrical adapters for the Swiss sunken style power outlets (normal round European adapters don’t fit!) as well as a kettle and toaster. "Unsere Gastgeber waren wunderbar. Sie waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und immer ansprechbar. Die Wohnung und das Hausgrundstück sind liebevoll gestaltet. Vor allem haben uns die geräumige Terrasse und die Größe der Wohnung gefallen. Wir waren zu dritt und jeder hatte ein Schlafzimmer für sich. Das Bad ist sehr großzügig und barrierefrei, die Küche top ausgestattet. Wir können die Unterkunft ohne wenn und aber sehr empfehlen. "

"Pros: Wir wurden herzlich begrüßt,alles wurde gut erklärt,es war alles da was man braucht,wir konnten sogar Brötchen bestellen die uns dann morgens gebracht wurden.Vermieter waren sehr kooperativ.Konnten uns auch gute Tipps geben. Cons: Nachdem ich von Freitag bis Montagnachmittag keine Rückmeldung bekommen hatte -war ich schon sehr nervös.Hat sich dann aber erledigt,die Vermieterin hat sich nach einer WhatsApp sogar noch telefonisch gemeldet"

"Our stay was lovely at hotel Victoria, the reception staff were so kind, helpful and welcoming. Sometimes being a person of colour in Europe can be daunting but the hotel and Basel in general felt safe. Only slight feedback I would have is for cleaning, some used plates , mugs etc were not removed or cleaned and rubbish was not taken from the room ( we have accumulated it in a bag and placed it next to the dustbin as all of it would not fit in the bin). Bed and bathroom was cleaned so that was no problem. "

"Hotel ultra-modern - e.g. elevators can only take you to your own floor- detected by card key. We have junior suite, which is extremely nice. Bathroom has 2 vanities, shower and toilet separate. Large, comfortable, and thermostat works. 8'th floor (room 806) with great view. Parking under hotel - spaces plenty wide but aisles very narrow - hard to park. Dinner in hotel bistro was good, but like Switzerland, expensive compared to France. Hotel windows have automatic shutters that come down when the sun is on that side, to keep sun out. Dinner in the regular restaurant was even more expensive. Staff has been friendly and helpful. On 12/31, had plugged toilet - upgraded to room 1400, a full suite. Lots of space, great views. Hotel looks, operates and feels like 5*. Only miss might be the dining areas, which are somwhat plain, with no table cloths. Highly recommended. Would definitely stay here again. "
