Stayed for the weekend while in town for a wedding. It was a great location, and was exactly what we needed! A fully stocked kitchen was helpful and the coffee was much appreciated! We enjoyed the hot tub as well. Would definitely stay again!

Well worth the stay

Loved the hot tub and the cabin in the woods. It’s easy to forget life for a moment and relax. It’s close to the state park with lots of trails to walk and a beach. Loved it!

Needs some TLC!

Management did good with communicating. Here was the list of my concerns that need the TLC. Housekeeping, the front and back doors had no blinds or curtains so you can see straight in. I took a couple small blankets in the cabin’s basket to hang over the rods that were there and found someone’s retainers for their teeth and their lip gloss inside a blanket. The shower was not shown on the listing and we now know why, it’s very small with little pressure and a make shift curtain. The worst part of shower was the large hair ball stuck in floor drain. While management told us if grill ran out of gas they would reimburse us to take it to be changed, when I went to use it… it was already out of gas so I was not able to use this amenities they offered. It should have been check prior to us coming. The igniter was not working in grill either. Front porch has a rotted board right at top of steps, inside main cabin my wife stepped on two different nail heads sticking up out of hardwood floor. Hot tub worked great, back deck really needs cleaned off to remove all leaves /sticks that appear to have been there some time now. Light bulb missing from bathroom fixture. Someone also has thrown an old TV antenna in the yard next to drive. Great communication, nice location, poor housekeeping and upkeep.

We got married and didn’t want to travel to far . Cabin was cozy and worked well for us! Hot tub was a huge plus and he a small fire in the fire pit. Cons where there was so many hair balls all over the place could have been cleaned better . I also could not find the remote for the loft tv so we didn’t get to use it at all!

Fall Break Get Away

As a mother of two under 5 and a middle school teacher I needed a quiet relaxing getaway and this cabin provided just that! We loved the hot tub and fire pit with provided firewood!

Perfect Quiet Stay

I spent about half a week with my partner here, just hiking and spending time together. It was the perfect amount of space for two or three people, the host answered all my dumb questions, and it was very clean. It was exactly like the pictures, very beautiful! The only possible thing I could complain about is the lack of lighting in the cabin. It gets very dark at night and turning on the lights helps only a little. Definitely recommend!

Amazing Weekend Getaway

We stayed here for Fourth of July weekend and had an amazing time. It is in such a great location with easy access to the lake. The cabin was very clean and cozy. Definitely will be back again!

Overall, this property is exactly as listed. It’s in a great location. The only issues we had were lack of toilet paper and paper towels and the cleanliness of the hot tub and back deck. There is a lack of water pressure in the shower. Nathan was very responsive when we contacted him. He is a new owner of this property, so hopefully this review will help him address easily corrected issues.

Things didnt work

When we got there, we discovered the back doors were unlocked. When we tried to start dinner, we found the stove/oven didnt work. When we tried to see if it was plugged in, everything under and behind the stove was a mess. The floors and the fans need cleaning and the ceiling fan stopped working after a couple of hours.
