Broken elevator made for a stressful weekend! We were compensated on our room rate, but unfortunately it didn't make the painful service elevator wait any shorter. Also, the rooftop bar was closed due to the elevator and that was the main reason we booked this hotel.

The rooms were nice and the beds were comfortable. The air condition was not working properly and the coffee maker was broken. The restaurant downstairs did not have any glasses or ice. Hampton Inn & Suites Birmingham-Downtown-Tutwiler
Very quiet and (soon to be) beautiful property. Interior is under renovation, so eating area for breakfast is down to the concrete floors in the hallway. There is no access to the gym. And my shower floor was cracked!
