Spacious king suite with nice furnishings. The hotel staff and valet are super nice. We were able to walk to the art museum and the park which is just across the street. I would return again after the renovations and when the restaurant is reopened.

The valet at check in was superb- very courteous & knowledgeable; a true customer service professional. I do wish I remembered his name as he deserves proper recognition. Unfortunately, the front desk clerk was the polar opposite and not in the least hospitable. Definitely not the person you should have as the hotel's first impression.

Well this hotel is very old, however I will say they are in the process of remodeling it. We had several issues during our stay. 1. No parking. All they offer is valet parking but I have no idea where they are parking the cars? We paid $21 for overnight parking in an outside lot. 2. Since the Hotel is under construction there seems to only be one way in and out. 3.We got to our room after dark and there are no lights hooked to the light switch so we had to use our flashlight on our phones to find switches on the lamps. 4. Only one of the USB charging outlets were functional. 5. The TV although it had an amazing picture the sound was terrible! 6. They had two bottles of complementary water on the desk which was nice however when we opened it the water tasted soapy? 7. The shower was not working. We tried several things but it would only trickle out. So we had to take bath which was not ideal. 8. The front desk did not seem to care at all about anything! Overall the room was clean the bathroom looked nice you could tell it had been recently refurbished. For what this hotel charges I feel they really missed the mark. They could have offered a discount or something but did not.

Considering that the hotel is undergoing renovations we accepted some inconveniences such as crowded parking while exterior painting was underway, fireplaces in the room not functioning as advertised. Otherwise our room was clean and updated. The air handler was very noisy (room 302) and some of the lights were burnt out. The service staff was excellent - including the valet service which we assume was provided by a third party?

The room was lovely, clean, and warm in a crazy cold snap. The staff were all lovely, welcoming, and helpful. Breakfast was yummy, fresh, and hot with lots of great options, even on a quieter weekday morning. I would definitely choose to stay here again.
