The breakfast is not free.. $20 a person which is absurd for a hotel breakfast and the bartender said he didn't know how to make mixed drinks but the hotel was fine otherwise. Checked in early too.

The beds are super hard and the bathroom was not cleaned properly. It still had soap in the dish from the previous guest and the toilet and tub had “hair” in and on it. I was also upset that they spoke so fast as if they were robots at check in I had to go back and ask questions about the additional $100 charge on my card (security deposit) which is refunded in 5-7 days after checkout! As beautiful as it is I was disappointed overall.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Marriott in Birmingham, Alabama, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, with friendly staff who made me feel welcomed right away. I especially appreciated the comfortable bed and the quiet atmosphere, which made it easy to unwind after a long day. The hotel’s facilities were also impressive. The common areas were well-maintained, and the overall ambiance felt both professional and inviting. If you’re traveling for business or leisure, it’s a great place to stay. What truly stood out was the level of customer service. Every staff member I interacted with was courteous, helpful, and genuinely attentive. It’s clear they take pride in making guests feel comfortable. Overall, I would highly recommend this Marriott location to anyone visiting Birmingham. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip.

The staff was extremely nice. The hotel is in a beautiful and safe location. Just a short drive to restaurants and shopping. Our favorite was the heated pool. However, the pool is small, and water was a bit murky. The hotel overall is clean and looks good, but in the details, there is aging starting to set in. Rust on lighting fixture. Things that are fine now, but management should start addressing now to prevent expensive repairs. The only negative feedback I have as far as cleaning was the floor in our room. You could tell pets were in that room before because we found pet food around the bed floor. However, we enjoyed our quick visit.
