1. Many guests at this hotel are fishermen. A lot of them leave before 4 am in the morning. The breakfast opens at 6:00 am or later. The breakfast is not useful. 2. There are no instructions to operate the TV nor the AC 3. The beds are not as comfortable as before.

As usual, I enjoyed my stay at the Vagabond Inn. I have stayed in several motels in Bishop and have decided that the Vagabond is the best value for the money. While not fancy, the rooms are spacious, comfortable and well lit, with great water pressure and hot water in the shower. The continental breakfast is good. If you are traveling with as dog, the extra fee is reasonable and the dog walk area at the rear of the motel is spacious.

A great roadside stop within walking distance to a number of places to eat and drink. Staff are wonderful. This is the second time we’ve chosen to stop here and would recommend it.

The staff was excellent. The breakfast looked nice and fresh. Since there is a Dennys next door, and they give us 10% discount, that’s where we had breakfast. Very clean, comfortable, and great location! 😊

Desk person couldn't find my reservation. Had to pay the hotel directly and then of course Expedia got their money, so I again double paid using third party agencies. I really recommend for people to contact the hotels directly to avoid this hassle. Expedia wants me to contact the hotel, get a receipt and then send it to them. I did contact them and they said I would have the receipt in about 3 minutes. 45 minutes later, I still don't have it. 3rd party agencies are Ok when it all works but involving more cooks in the kitchen sometimes just doesn't work.

Perfect for what we needed- a place to stop and sleep halfway on our drive to Tahoe. Check-in was a breeze and staff was very friendly. Parking easy, access to room easy, location fantastic, fridge and microwave much appreciated!! But the true highlight was the double bunk bed for my kids (and worthy of a review!) We’ve traveled all over the country and finding this amenity is nearly impossible- such a great addition for families. We walked next door to Dennys for breakfast. Area seemed safe as we left our bikes and extra luggage in the back of our truck overnight (appreciated backing in right in front of our room).

We stayed here after a ski trip to Mammoth. The lady at the front desk was very nice and professional. The room is updated and very clean. The continental breakfast was pretty decent. We would definitely stay here again.

The Expedia Vagabond Inn site says they serve breakfast lunch and dinner. They only serve a very meager continental breakfast - no hot foods and not many choices for the dry boring food. We expected a decent breakfast -don’t choose this place over others similarly priced for the breakfast. Otherwise it was fine. Accommodating friendly staff. And they have an onsite laundromat.

Great hotel we always stay it in when in Bishop!!! Clean, big rooms, convenient location. Great pool, fun amenities like popcorn in lobby, free yummy breakfast…parking is great, the hotel is quiet, and it’s next to a Denny’s and near Schat’s bakery. There’s so many pluses this hotel has to offer. The staff is awesome, too!!! Love this place. I tell everyone about it.
