“The Purple Heart Trail Inn is nothing fancy (yes, I climbed those sturdy stairs many times,) but it was a very nice place to stay for a week. It is maybe 15 feet off the White Pine Trail, which is perfect for me.The unit was well-supplied, and the internet worked great..The owners were easy to reach and very friendly.”

“Paul's place had everything we needed--comfortable beds, lots of kitchen supplies, and even a very friendly cat. Great location close to the Pere Marquette River, Ludington State Park, and a day trip away from Sleeping Bear Dunes. We had a great time here, and the boys even caught several fish in the river. Thanks for the tips on where to fish!”

“My family loved everything about our stay and wouldn't change a thing. The cottage is clean, well stocked, beautiful, and cozy. The patio on the water is amazing. We loved sitting on the patio watching the eagles, loons, and other wildlife. Everyone is friendly and the hosts are amazing. My son did a lot of fishing and we also went swimming. I definitely look forward to returning in the future. 10/10”

“I am not even sure where to start. Melissa was so informative and contacted me early due to a plan of her own and wanted to make sure that I had all the information I needed! When we arrived at the property, she had a cute ribbon tied around the door to signify which one was our room and provided all the details to enter. The room was beautiful, clean exactly as described! The decorations so adorable! Furniture, super comfy! Bathroom totally state-of-the-art! 10 out of 10 would recommend!!”

“Nate and Brenda were wonderful! They were great to work with, responded quickly and communicated well. Their home is very clean and spacious. We enjoyed swimming in Lake Michigan in Ludington 15 miles away.”

“This place was amazing! Melissa was friendly and VERY helpful. We had quite and adventure with a small kitten climbing in our bumper, but we got him out amd helped reunite him with his family! The view of the river was beautiful. And my husband was able to catch a walleye. This was the perfect spot for a mini vacation and hope to stay here again in the future.”

“We needed an inexpensive place to stay at night while visiting relatives nearby. This cabin was just what we wanted. The only negative comment I have is that the traffic noise on the highway can be a bit loud, but if you are a sound sleeper like I am, you won't have an issue with it.”
