Great Getaway

Great property with a responsive host. The pictures dont do the location justice. The beds are very comfortable, but they are on the firm side. We attended a concert at Red Rocks the drive was approximately 40 minutes but definitely worth it.

Beautiful House Amazing Views

This mountain house was beautiful, well furnished and comfortable for our family. Waking up to the mountain view was perfect. The house is well furnished and it was easy to settle in and feel comfortable in our surroundings. We did day trips to Idaho Springs, Golden and Black Hawk. We spent a lot of time out on the deck grilling, eating, watching for wildlife (we did spot a couple of moose) and enjoying the view. Alan was the perfect host, responding immediately to our texts.

Dory Lake vacation

Beautiful home with amazing views. There was some issues with the Hot Tub (cleanliness & jets not working) and no hot water on the morning we checked out. The host was notified and responded promptly to my message, but nothing was done to resolve the issue with the hot tub. Thats the only reason it's not a complete 5 star revjew.

Amazing Property with Amazing View

We had a spectacular stay at this property. Everything inside was up-to-date. We loved the hot tub each evening and we explored the area during the day. Love being close to Nederland as it is one of our favorite places (it is where the grocery store is). Black Hawk is close if you like the casinos, but not many shops left there. Idaho Springs isn't much further past Black Hawk and has great shops and great dining. We have never visited Colorado in early spring. We were worried about the snow. The roads were clear, and my adult children had a great time in the snow in the yards (LOL). Even on the one cold day, that we determined was our "work day," we enjoyed being inside and watching the snow fall (the graupel was a fun experience to watch). The internet was good (no cell service for Verizon, some for ATT), the TVs and Pool table were good too. There were a few minor things we contacted the host about, and they were taken care of quickly. Always able to contact them the whole time we were there. Would highly recommend this property. We would rent it again in the future.

Awesome place

Amazing location, views, basically in the state park. Property is well appointed, communication from owner was great. Hard to understand how it could deserve anything but 5 stars.

Dory Lake!

We had a wonderful stay! We had a couple questions when we first arrived and the owners were very responsive. The house was perfect for us (kids free) and our friends (3 & 9) - plenty of separation while also being able to come together. From sunrise to deep into the night the views from inside the cabin are amazing. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful Rocky Mountain retreat

The property was beautiful as advertised, we enjoyed our stay in the mountains and visiting with family. We even saw two moose wander by the property which was a special treat. The host was very responsive with any questions we had. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your property we had a wonderful time!
