Make sure to visit Spinning Jenny Vineyard for the tasty wine and beautiful views. This was a girls trip but I will definitely plan another with the family. 「The second we opened the door we knew we had picked a winner. The pictures did not do the rental justice. It was much bigger than expected with separate living and kitchen areas. The two bedrooms were also separated by the kitchen. The rental was spotless and very well decorated. We used the fire pit one night and that was nice. 「My 8yr old son and I were in town for one night and needed a place to stay. Found the Blank Slate bus and jumped on it, AFTER reading all of the details. We could not have had more fun! Everything was tidy and clean. Having most of our camping supplies, we were over prepared. Once we got settled in for the night, it was all we needed. Waking up in a forest but only a few miles from civilization was a plus.Could not recommend more! It was lovely.」

The house was clean, floors, bathrooms, kitchens, etc. Ms Nancy was super accommodating with check in and out which we greatly appreciated, she answered all my questions and was super quick to respond. 「This rental was the perfect starting point for some hiking I wanted to do in the area. Mt Rogers (tallest peak in Va) is close by, as are The Channels, which was my focus for this trip. This place can easily host 3-4 people, maybe even 5 if one wants to sleep on the couch. The beds were the best feature, super comfortable, best sleep of my life. You do have to climb up ladders to get to them, they're loft style, but I'd crawl over broken glass to get back to them. There is a sink, a mini fridge...
