Charming Pet-Friendly Cabin with Sunset Views Over Birch Bay

  • Welcome to this peaceful, rustic retreat on the doorstep of Canada in WA State. This cabin sleeps 4 adults + 1-2 kids comfortably. It is simple and cozy, boasting a glorious view of Birch Bay through a bank of windows or from the wrap around deck. In this eclectic cabin, nothing matches but everything goes together.

    There is one large bedroom in the loft with a queen size purple bed and a small futon (great for little kids). The bedroom downstairs is separated by a curtain, and has a twin bed over a double bed. The bathroom has been updated and includes a shower, washer/dryer, and a bidet (just cold water, sorry).
    This cozy cabin has a fireplace which you are welcome to use (wood provided), Sonos integrated speakers, and even an electric vehicle charging plug if needed.

    The kitchen is equipped with a coffee machine, refrigerator, microwave, oven, and plates/glasses/pots etc. There is no tv, but you can stream on your own screens using the wi-fi.

    The location of the cabin is wonderful. Birch Bay is tranquility in a teacup. Situated just above the C shop (a classic Birch Bay Beach Bakery), you can walk to restaurants, coffee shops, beer gardens, and a lovely bayside berm, perfect for walks at any time of day.
    The entrance to the state park is less than a mile from the cabin, and Semiahmoo resort is just ten minutes away. During the summer this is a bustling place for young families, reminiscent of an 1950's beach town with many attractions. In winter, Birch Bay is serene and extremely quiet with birds and wildlife to observe. Great place to buckle down and get a big project done in solitude, or to come for a family weekend. Book now and enjoy everything Washington cabin life has to offer.

    Dogs and children are welcome! This is a place to make memories and weave future nostalgia.

This is a very cozy place to stay. You can see the bay from inside the house as well as from the porch. The view is especially lovely at night. The neighborhood was quiet. Overall we had a relaxing and lovely stay.

Nice place to get away for just a weekend and it’s great that pets are welcomed. The only downfall is there was a bunch of spider nest on the deck, grill that is provided was really dirty and there was so much dust in the house. Other than those three issues it was great. The views are amazing and the walk to the beach wasn’t bad at all. Thank you again for allowing us to stay.

The area and cabin were very very nice, Just as shown in the pictures. Very beautiful little cabin, very spacious just not as clean. There was a quite a bit of dust and dog hair everywhere and the bathroom contained used hygiene products. Overall we enjoyed our time and the views are amazing.

Very nice cabin. It’s set up exactly as owner describes. This isn’t your place if you expect televisions and modern living. It’s a beautifully adorned cabin in a really great small town. Come here if you’re into quiet, calm, fires, reading and ocean views.

The host communicated with us in a courteous, timely manner. The rental felt like home and had almost everything we needed. The sunsets were photo-worthy and memorable. We loved all the birds, too. We will be renting again in the future!

We enjoyed this clean, cozy little house for 4 nights in June this year. It reminded me of a funky, retro-style beach house like your grandparents might have had after they retired, where you spent your summers as a kid...... It even had an old-school Scrabble game from the 60s or 70s. Located in a quiet residential neighborhood, it is walking distance and driving distance to the beach, walking trails, restaurants and shops. The neighbors we met were friendly, but not nosy, and we enjoyed walks through the neighborhood with our dogs a couple times every day. The house itself was well-equipped with appliances, cooking utensils and cleaning supplies, so it was very easy to get settled in. While it is on the smaller side, it is perfect for a couple and a child or two. The outside deck is huge and has a wide, elevated view of Birch Bay looking to the north and northwest. All-in-all, it provided us a relaxing getaway with an awesome view and the opportunity to try new restaurants. The property host was very responsive and helpful prior to our stay and after our stay, and we have already talked about going back this year for another visit.

Beautiful, scenic and peaceful location. We enjoyed our time on the deck, soaking in some sun, chatting with the neighbor and watching the goslings and wild bunnies. Only on suggestion would be to secure the top if the handrail and maybe add a short length at the bottom landing. We would love for a longer return stayCheers
