“Really simple and easy outing at the beach with a small rustic cabin facing the waves. It was a perfect place to stop for a road trip that gave us a unique and memorable time at the coast! The very small town was gorgeous! The nearby cafe was convenient and delicious! Definitely plan to stay again! ”

“We took my mother-in-law to the beach for a few days, and this house was perfect!! There is a bedroom and both bathrooms on the first floor, so she didn't have to use the stairs. The view from the front windows is absolutely amazing, and she LOVED sitting in the chair there and watching the waves! The beach is just a short walk away. The kitchen was very nice and had everything we needed. It was also nice having the washer and dryer to dry our wet clothes after getting caught by a wave. The gas……

“Entry stairs were tough for my parents. House was clean. Served our needs. There was no view at all, although it was not advertised with a view. I wrongly assumed a house on the beach with sand dunes meant we would have access from the house. We had to walk a short distance to access beach.”

“Super location to boat launch, park and beach access. Could stand to have more than one kitchen towel (lol) but this didn’t have any effect on our nice stay. Wonderful to have the garage to off load sandy shoes”

“Shorty's Hideaway is a beautiful and quiet place to stay on the Oregon Coast. Small home with big offerings including beautiful decor, kitchen that a chef could prepare meals in, amazingly comfortable mattresses, stunning views, tranquil beach and every item you may need. Pacific City and the area offer small town excellence in dining and shopping. A gem for sure.”

“This house is in a remarkable location. We had a few perfectly clear sunsets we could enjoy simply standing on the balcony. The beach is also just about 25 years away. There were 12 of us and had plenty of space and we had a really wonderful time. That said, I will always try to avoid staying in Vacasa managed homes. It was a great deal for the price but I'm not sure I'd choose to go back. I wouldn't describe it as clean or cozy but great for a long weekend on the coast.”

“Fabulous location and views, clean but spartan. The pullout couch in the 3rd bedroom is very uncomfortable for sleeping- it should be a bed, as there’s no reason to sit on the sofa in an empty white room with only an overhead light for company.”

“We were delighted to find that the property had received an upgrade in amenities since the pictures we saw. It's quite large and spacious, even our group of 11 felt comfortable. Lots of fun to be had in the arcade, and the hot tub and sauna are a nice bonus. Easy walk to the beach, lots of nice outdoor views nearby. Easy house rules, great experience overall.”

“This was a wonderful unit with a great location. If it had been good weather, it would have been great. You can’t help the weather. Everything was perfect outside of this unit having no ocean view to enjoy if you are stuck inside. Had it been good weather that allowed us to be outside for most of the day, it would have been fine. The unit was comfortable, clean , quiet, and had everything we needed to be comfortable. We rented the unit for 2 nights but only stayed for one bevy without an ocean……

“Close to beach (but wouldn't walk sure to narrow road and traffic), nice layout. Had everything we needed. The garage is there but not usable (locked) which was a bummer in the rain for loading/unloading car and not tracking things in the house. Lots of towels and throw blankets provided. No welcome book - would have been nice to know the ins and outs and what was expected of us at checkout. We found hidden USB ports downstairs on the 2nd day which was really nice because we forgot our bricks to……

“It was an amazing hotel. Check-in was efficient and friendly. Coffee and breakfast was provided and tasty. Room was large and clean with table and chairs, TV with movie channels, fridge and feeezer. Bathroom was so clean and large, with bath soap, shampoo and conditioner. Room was quiet in the evening through to next morning before bustle started. ”
