Quiet Cabin Mountain Retreat UC STR #021754

Fall in love with this classic Georgia cabin in the heart of the Blue Ridge mountains. The back screened in porch overlooks wooden pine forest filled with wildlife; white tailed deer are daily visitors. The patio includes a propane grill as well as a propane fire pit to keep you warm on the chilly mountain nights. The rustic, newly built interior of the cabin frames all the comforts you'll need to feel at home during your mountain getaway. The property has a full size washer and dryer for your convenience. You're a quick drive away from the numerous surrounding lakes filled with endless Large Mouth Bass, Crappie and Catfish. You are just a short drive from the heart of downtown Blairsville, where you’ll find numerous restaurants and shopping. The general location of the cabin is off 325 and Hedgecock Rd very near to the Nottely Boat Club & Marina. GPS has some folks taking them around the mountain for some reason and the map shows location in downtown Blairsville, which it is not. The distance is about 12 minutes. It is also a short distance to Blue Ridge, Murphy North Carolina and Tennessee.
Details:
*Master Bedroom has queen size bed, with full bathroom, smart TV and a large window to view the gorgeous Georgia wildlife.
*Bedroom two is furnished with a queen size bed ,along with a smart TV and full bathroom with shower and tub, incase you have littles to bathe. As well as a large window to view the back yard.
*Kitchen is fully equipped to include Keurig coffee maker, dishes, utensils, pots and pans for cooking needs. The large kitchen island makes a perfect place for family gatherings and has 3 barstools.
*Living Room includes a electric remote start fireplace, 2 reclining chairs and a sofa which includes a sleeper for two extra guests.
*Dinning room has large table with bench seating that can seat 6-8 people.
*The large back screened in porch is furnished with seating and small bistro table. We also have a propane grill for you use and a propane fire pit for cool family nights.
*Property is in a gated community with the gate open daily from 7am-7pm. After 7pm key pad entry is required via code, which is given on check in instructions.

Peaceful and restful stay, just what we were wanting.
The cabin was as clean and convenient as we had hoped for, as we have friends that live nearby, and were able to visit with them easily. I would only say that with our 2 fur babies, the lack of a fenced in area for them meant that we had to harness and leash them each time they wanted to go out. As long as you're prepared for that, you're good to go. Would love to see a little more lighting in front for those nighttime bathroom trips though. We’ll certainly be back!

Soul Soothing
This was our 2nd stay at the quiet cabin retreat. We just love the place. It is immaculate inside and so welcoming. Being surrounded by the quiet and nature is so soul soothing. We spent most of our time while at the cabin on the screened back porch, watching the deer and wildlife. Highly recommended. Donna, the host, is wonderful to work with.

A Piece of Heaven
It was a wonderful vacation at the cabin/house. The peace and quiet you experience is beyond words. My favourite place was on the back deck where we had our meals. Its a little bit of heaven... Nature at its best... Donna, the host was beyond helpful. She made it so we could call her anytime if we had an issue. A wonderful lady. Stores etc. were within 10-15 mins from cabin, depending on what road you take. We were sad to leave and hopefully will return in the near future.... Highly recommend this cabin Nature at its best.. Thank you Donna for making our vacation a success....

Restful and Beautiful
We stayed a week as previous visitors in the North Georgia area and saw many beautiful scenic sights we had not seen before as well as took advantage of the various antique stores. Most of all we enjoyed the peaceful time spent at our cabin. It was the best stay we had in all our visits.

Beautiful Home in a Gorgeous Location!
This has to be the quietest place we've ever stayed! The house has everything you need, with plenty of kitchen utensils, pots and pans. Deer and wild turkeys around every morning and evening. Very nice subdivision for walking. We spend a lot of time on the screened porch, listening to the birds. We only used the master bed, but it was very comfortable. We definitely plan to return in the future. Thanks Donna!

Quiet cabin
This was a lovely rental. Exactly as described. We loved seeing the deer every morning and evening. When we arrived, we ran into one problem with the heat and contacted Donna. She responded quickly and the problem was solved. Blairsville is a lovely small town, and the cottage has a lovely private setting. Thank you, Donna.

Home Away From Home
Our stay at the Quiet Retreat is just what we needed. We had a small travel issue and Donna was very accommodating. The house is amazing, the views incredible, the weather outstanding and the house stocked with all nice linens, kitchen items, washer/dryer, everything. The only thing I would add is a fence for my dog and we might just have to stay for 6 months. :0) Thank you again for a lovely visit and being so accommodating! Nicely appointed!
This home was just perfect for us! I loved the ranch floor plan and the decor was ideal for a mountain house ! We had everything we needed in the kitchen to pull off our Thanksgiving dinner. It’s nice to be in a gated community and it was so quiet.

Great fall getaway
This place was so wonderful. It had everything we needed, almost like home. We enjoyed watching the wildlife every morning and evening. It was great being in the quiet of nature. My soul needed this re-set. It was conveniently located to every thing we wanted to do. We loved hiking to the waterfalls nearby, enjoyed several vineyards/wineries and the wonderful little towns and the local people. It was the perfect trip for us. Only negative was the pillows, they need to be upgraded and have options. We usually bring our own but forgot this time. Will definitely consider booking again when visiting this area. C in Florida

Lovely but a few glitches . . .
The cabin was in a beautiful wooded and hilly area, about a 25 minute drive from Blairsville. Blairsville is a small touristy town, with a few good restaurants and a wonderful large grocery store. The cabin is clean, the furniture in excellent shape, and the setting peaceful and calm. Our host called us the day we were arriving to tell us the internet was not working, but would be fixed within the next day or two. We did not have internet (or access to TV) for 5 of the 7 days we were there. Communications about this were daily, and sometimes tense. It was finally resolved. The dishwasher also stopped working while we were there, but with a call was fixed the next day. It would be nice if the cookware and pillows would be upgraded. However, if it weren't for the internet problem, we would have had a lovely stay.

We had a wonderful vacation at this beautiful cabin! It was clean, convenient, and very comfortable. Loved observing the beautiful leaves while relaxing on the porch enjoying the fire pit and watching the numerous deer who came to visit. Would definitely consider returning.

This is the fourth time staying at this house. We love the privacy and quiet. We had two different deer herds this year, and the morning we left they were all across the street to say goodbye. God willing we.will be back next year.

Beautiful home in serene setting!
This beautiful home in such a serene setting was the perfect place to return to each day. Our days were filled with exploring the surrounding towns, where we were welcomed by the friendliest people. This home was so comfortable and felt like home, as soon as we arrived. One of the cleanest home that we have stayed in, which is also very important to us. Our host Donna responded quickly to messages and was so helpful suggesting activities in the area. Would definitely consider staying again.

Just as pictured and very comfortable! Quiet pleasant neighborhood. Host very helpful and responsive. Had several good meals at local restaurants - delicious! Most places had a 30+ min wait time...well worth it, but plan accordingly. We thought the cabin was closer to Blairsville...but it is a 15 min drive west from town. We were attending a wedding east of town, so it made for extra driving. With the great mountain views, we really didn't mind ; ) Thanks for the charming cabin and a relaxing stay! Highly recommended!
