“We loved our stay at the Ambrosia Hotel. Our room was very comfortable, we all slept amazingly well. The room was spotless and had a lovely view or the cobbled street, it also had air conditioning to keep us cool during the hot weather. Breakfast is cooked fresh in front of you and the continental offerings are plentiful. I highly recommend this hotel.
Also there's a Spar around the corner, fabulous frites in Chipz on the same street and you cannot beat Marktcafe Les Halles in the main square……

“Hotel Recour was without a doubt the best place we stayed the entire time we were in Europe. The staff were beyond helpful and friendly, the prices were very reasonable, breakfast was a wonderful spread and the location cannot be beat. And that's not even mentioning the absolutely beautiful room with a large bath that was very welcome after the trek out to Poperinge!”

“Four chaps on a motorcycle holiday, we stayed two nights and it was perfect for us. Rooms were clean with good bathrooms, breakfast was great, the bar was open and if you didn’t fancy a 30 minute walk into the centre of Ypres, a taxi ride was €15. So much to see in the area. Staff were great and really helpful. Not fancy but a perfect base.”
