Our cabin offer the elegance, class and comfort you have been looking for. With our blend of modern and rustic motif, you're sure to enjoy any stay with us, whether you're here on business or for some fun. And all of our beds offer you the luxurious comfort, so you can ensure that you'll sleep soundly. We offer spacious rooms that are designed to fit anyone's taste. Our Cabin is not secluded so please don't book if you want a secluded stay. Closest Neighbor is 250 feet away, and there is a driveway adjacent to the cabin.

With our attention to detail, your friends and/or family are sure to share in good times and enjoyment while visiting the Hoot Owl Cabin.

If relaxing is more your style, be sure to check out our hot tub and spend your evening unwinding and relaxing in pure bliss. Or play a few games of billiards to pass the time.

Anniversary Weekend
We had a great stay! The cabin was clean and modern and everything we needed for a relaxing weekend getaway. We will definitely book this again for getaways and trips to Bloomington and Brown County.

Host lied in order to keep my security deposit!!!!
We booked this trip a year in advance at the normal rate to see the 2024 solar eclipse. The host must have realized that they missed an opportunity to raise the rates and lied in order to keep our security deposit. They lied and claimed that the hot tub water was green with a film and accused us of wearing lotion while in the water. However, I read their information about the property before our arrival and saw that they have warning against wearing lotion in the hot tub. How convenient! Because of this, I personally ensured that no one in my party had applied lotion before entering the water. I also took several photos of the water showing that it was NOT green when we left. Furthermore, we only stayed two nights and I find it very hard to believe that the water would be green that quickly unless they didn't properly chlorinate the water. The also lied about a microwave handle that was already broken when we arrived. I suspect that this host has lied about damages in order to keep the deposits for other guest. Also, I suspect that they are discriminating against my family because my father is disabled and needed to run an oxygen machine 24 hours a day which raises the energy bill. Shame on them for stealing money from a disabled man who just wanted to see a total solar eclipse before he died. Also, only 1 of the 3 bedrooms had TVs which was inconvenient since many of us watch different shows. Do yourself a favor and book a different property. Host can't be trusted.

Springtime getaway
The cabin was perfect! Had everything we needed. Clean, comfortable. Beautiful area. We enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. We just used the master bedroom, haven't slept that well in a while. Extremely comfortable. Thank you!

Amazing getaway
What a beautiful place! We booked a spur of the moment trip and went with our 5 year old and 19 year old. This cabin is wonderful in every way. Our middle child will be starting at IU Bloomington this fall, we will be back again. If you’re on the fence due some other reviews (I read them too) don’t hesitate. This place is fantastic

Clean, inviting cabin with pleasant decor and details
Just a quick two night stay to get away during spring break- the weather was cloudy cool and drizzly but we enjoyed the cabin! Hot tub was A+ and the beds were very comfy. Went to Bloomington on Thursday to explore the campus and found lots of cool things to do - many of them free! The IU art collection is well worth a look, much on display from many time periods and global regions! Feta Kitchen was a gem!

The cabin was amazing! The location was perfect and right in the middle of everything! We didn’t leave the cabin much throughout the weekend which is exactly what we needed. Hope to book again down the road.
