Enjoy nature is this beautiful private wooded area, close to Blue Ridge Parkway. Secluded upscale neighborhood, yet very short trip to all the attractions including ski slopes, hiking, Boone & Appalachian State University. Only 4 miles to main street Blowing Rock.
Offers two living rooms with TVs and fireplaces, and has a special "Eagle's Nest" bedroom with private balcony on the 3rd floor amongst the trees. Fully equipped kitchen and laundry.
Enjoy nearby hiking trails, crisp evenings by the fire pit, or head into town for wonderful dining and shopping at the boutique stores!

The location was excellent and there was plenty of room for our family. Having a kitchen with appliances helped us save money by allowing us the option to cook meals. Close to the attractions and stores we wanted to visit. We had no problem getting in and out of the driveway. Home appears to be in a closed in neighborhood so there was almost no traffic.

Wonderful, Peaceful Mountain Home

Communication with the property owners was excellent. They were responsive and thorough. The house was wonderful, clean and open. The area was quiet and we really enjoyed our stay and will stay again when we're in the area.

The pictures were misleading. Host called to let us know stair railing had been pulled from the wall.. we were assured we would be safe. Even last night the house we were in had a message in red mountain house unavailable. Were we safe ? The hosts Leigh and Lucas were wonderful! House was very clean. On the inside house is attractive!

Great host! Very concerned and accommodating.

The house was perfect for our group. It was a beautiful setting and we hated to leave. Would definitely stay there again. Gaining entry with keypad was a little tricky but was easily solved once we were able to get cell service.

Eagles Nest

This was the perfect house for our little family get away for our Nanny’s 83rd birthday! My grandfather was also in attendance and he suffers from Parkinson’s disease so stairs are out of the cards for him! Leigh was great at communicating with me and all questions I had about the lay out of the house to make sure it could accommodate my grandfather as well! The full bedroom& bathroom downstairs along with the small living room allowed us all to spend time with our grandparents so that neither of them would have to climb stairs! I highly suggest this house if you are traveling with family members who have a hard time navigating stairs.

A very pleasant stay!

This is a very nice property in close proximity to Grandfather Mountain and Blowing Rock. My family and I (8 adults) enjoyed our stay. The home was ready for guests, clean and check-in was smooth. Amenities are on the older side, but fully functional. My only critique was that the bed in the loft was very loud (I think there was a waterproof casing on the mattress). I would happily stay here again.

Perfect location

Our adult family of 4 really enjoyed our stay! Part of the family attended a wedding at Appalachian Ski Resort. This home was only minutes away from the resort. The room on the 3rd floor is especially inviting with windows on all 4 sides and a little balcony with 2 chairs and a table! We enjoyed using the firepit and the chairs provided. The chairs and gas grill were easily accessed from the garage! We enjoyed having china plates, stainless steel and glass ware available for our use. I would recommend this home as a centrally located, clean, family friendly stay! Bobbie

Located out of the way, but close to where we needed to go

Clean & Tidy property located exactly where we needed to be to spend minimal time getting to our planned activities with 4 kids under 14. We cooked for all 8 of us including surf n turf one evening. Even with weather issues there was enough space for kids to have own area to relax & unwind.

Great Stay!

We had a great experience at Leigh’s cabin. The check-in process at the cabin was super easy. The cabin was clean and just as pictured. They even had kids books, games, and Legos for my kiddos to play with. The location of the cabin was minutes from Downtown Blowing Rock. Communication with Leigh was exceptional, she stayed in contact with us throughout the whole stay and helped with anything we needed. We would definitely stay again!
